first random barn... finds a ''winged Mopar' and a ''Mustang'', both in apparently running condition.... second random barn.. ''Cobra''.. in good condition third barn... another ''daytona'' and a corvette.. Man i wish real life was more like this.. (best car i've ever found was a Plymouth duster in the corner of a junkyard that was rotten in the ground..which is a rare car in europe.)

boer harms best find I've found was an old 1977 Ford maverick, inside was completely gutted out and body was shot. Couldn't get inside to pop the hood though. I assume it had an engine in it, but who wants an old rust orange maverick?

I've been to numerous junkyards and people's houses, I've seen my fair share of Buick stuff that I like. I went over to Nebraska from Iowa (middle of USA) and bought an engine from a guy that had a bunch of Buick Skylarks, Le Sabres, and a 42,000 mile original Buick Regal Turbo T.

I’m on car mechanic simulator 2018 on laptop and I’m only level 12 and keep finding cars under 20,000 even though I’ve only got 19,000 so keep it up because I get so addicted to the game

I know this is an old video but for those who still play this game, or like myself just picked it up for the first time... I have a suggestion for making money. For those who buy junk and repair and resell it like the video shows.. some may say this is "cheating" but what the hell. Save the game BEFORE you repair your items. Try to repair to 100%.. if it breaks, reload the game lol.. if it repairs successfully.. save the game before moving to the second part.. Rinse and repeat. once all parts are repaired.. sell em. boom.

This is probably a bug but when I went barn diving I found that if I just leave the barn through the escape menu and not the pie menu you still have everything you took from the barn in your inventory when you get back to the garage. Basically stealing everything.

Most cars, or American cars at least, had front discs and rear drums well into the 1990s. My 1996 Dakota has front discs, and rear drums, for example.

I know the junk is good to search for cheaper parts but I worry I will never use what I buy so I ignore them. I did however buy a barn car and do it up, but it did need tons of money and work spent on it. Eventually I sold it before finished but still made 5k profit. SO now I want to find another "do-able" car lol this game so addictive!

Yesterday I did find 2 barn finds. And due to some bug it let me get all the parts and car for free. It kinda spoiled me so now I have surplus money and a few project cars waiting for restoration (waiting for tool to repair chassis). Buuu thanks for recommendation for quick exp. I'll definetly get to it.

Rules for this Challenge; - You must buy a car at the Junkyard; any car is acceptable. - Strip the car of all parts; everything must be removed and sold. - You may ONLY Use the Junkyard and Barns to get parts to build a working car. - You are NOT allowed to Repair the parts you put on the car. - You are not allowed to buy a second car to strip for parts; parts must be taken directly from "Junk" containers. - You've completed the challenge if you can take the car on a test drive. (Hardcore Hero; Build a car with all parts over 50%) I did this challenge, and it was a good bit of fun to pick up parts for a pile of junk in my garage; when it finally made it to the test track it was an utter turd, but I loved it.

Don't listen to him. In order to register your car you need to transfer it from the previous owner to you, for which you need the ownership papers. Sad but true. Many good cars get parted out because their papers are in worse condition than the car itself, a.k.a missing or the owner has died and etc.

easy way to get money: buy something in the shop with 5%off(or more if you are already their), and just sell it, and you make 5% profit ;)

or save the game RIGHT before you visit the barn.. if you don't have enough cash or decide not to buy the car, reload the savegame.. Boom you kept your barn / map! :)

I took $23k to a barn to buy some parts to fix up and sell, bought parts for $856 took them back to my garage and fixed them i was left with $15k sold the parts and barely had $16k then i reset my skills and i was somehow left with $6k, i was hoping to make a couple hundred to a thousand profit to see if i could start making some money at a better rate and i ended up losing $17k without doing anything.
