I don't often comment but I do often watch! And...as always...another BRILLIANT video. Lifetime admirer of classic UK cars across the pond. Me dad had a '58 Morris Minor (left hand drive) and I think that's what got me started😍🇬🇧thanks again.

As always another nicely put together vid. I agree, that Shadow 1 was a stunner but I think the car of the show for me was the Burgundy E type , beautiful. Thanks for posting.

It’s great that you make the effort to arrive early so that we see the cars rolling by plus get some sound. Much more interesting to see, thanks for another good ‘un .

I can understand why the Gentleman bought back his Jaguar XK 150 such a beautiful car! As you say Fords have been modified for decades, the 100E was very well done. The 'Pop' reminded me of 'Pinball wizard' a car of the 70's once owned by Mike Brewers Dad , a piece of useless information for you there! I loved the eleven window VW camper though I am not an expert on them they are just so well designed and getting very rare now due to rust. There must be a story behind the fire engines, I would love to know that one. Wouldn't it be nice to transport the old garage back to the UK? I do hope it is preserved and not turned into houses. Thanks Rick for another summer video in what is now a cold winter, stay warm everyone! 👍👍

If you want to see a lot of Renault 4s, try Madagascar. They're used as the local taxis. And are mostly yellow. Having owned a badly rusted one in the late 70s, I was gobsmacked to see so many when my wife and I were in Madagascar in 2018.

Hi Rick, I agree with you 100% re the Silver Shadow 1. The chrome bumpers rather than the rubberised ones on Shadow IIs.... You said it looked very "swish" - agree. Also thanks for filming it driving out - looked absolutely beautiful. For me it was number one at the meet, that old MG being number two. Regards, Adrian (Greetings from Australia.).

Great meeting with some beautiful cars the MG tourer looks great , I think that was a six cylinder.

That super Roller was my favourite, closely followed by the classic blue Stingray. I think that crazy Bond Bug should have dark brown upholstery................

I remember that chaps comments regarding the E-type vs an Aston - ahh, to be in the position to make such comparisons! Some fab cars on display, difficult to pick a favourite, though the Bond Bug was a bit mental! Thank you for the upload👍🏻

Good evening Richard . Another great return visit . You can guarantee to find something interesting and unique ! Why do some owners assume the're above the law .The very much modified 100 E motorcycle type front number plate which it must be said is better than no number plate ! The McClaren owner obviously assumes he doesn't need one ! Like most , we all adhere to the law , that's why l have 6 points for exceeding the 30 mph limit by 5 mph !!! I thought if you had an illegal number plate you were due a £1000 fine .......that early Silver Shadow was my favourite . Did you know it was going to be called the Silver Mist until some bright spark noted that mist in Germsn is sh*t ! Thanks Richard . And Hi Harley and to Mrs. OCC . Cheers !

Good toast and marmalade viewing RJ. I always liked the Bond Bug, I thought about buying one when they first were launched and now they change hands for crazy prices for a good one They were actually sold at motor bike sales outlets. The Allegro VP is wonderful, I tested drove a 928 Porsche a few years back, Guardsman red, but decided against buying it. So many to choose from there but the TVR's and the Roller are high on the list although I do prefer a Shadow II.

I had a Fiesta Supersport back in the late '80s. It was a bit of a sheep in wolfs clothing until I fitted a stage two 1.6 engine.

Wonderful vehicles and great video as always but I must correct you on one thing. Van Den Plas is pronounced Van Den Plah and NOT Van Den Plass !! I know this because one of my oldest friends has owned a number of VP's. some going back to the 1970's and he is a stickler for detail. Apologies for being a bit pedantic but this is an easy mistake to make, I hear it quite often !
@oldclassiccarUK11 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching, I've heard both sides and more often have read that Plas ends in a hard 'S' so often I swap between both versions to keep everyone happy(ish) :-)
@harveyalan78811 ай бұрын
As the Van Den Plas name most certainly derives from Flemish and not French, one would lean toward use of the sibilant rather than the silent 'S'. (Talk about pedantic!)
