Fantastic Paul, format, Modelling skills and wonderful to follow. Tired of figure painting for a while, so I’ve ordered a Hasegawa 1/24 Williams F14. Enjoyed car modelling back in 90s. Nice to return and refreshing too. Best wishes to you my friend, Hugh.

Hi, absolutely new to this. Came over your videos, so I bought the Subaru, and thought I’d build it following you build videos on it, and learn that way. Fantastic videos, so I hope to make good progress. Bought a whole lot of paint and tools, even bought some stuff from you guys that should be on its way. Only different, I bought the 2001 Rally of Great Britain 🇬🇧 So, thanks for the great videos 👏

Thank you for this, I recently just bought this model kit and it's my first "Big Boy" kit haha.... I've done a few Airfix planes but always wanted to focus on cars. I've recently also purchased an I-BEAUTEE cordless airbrush, so we'll see how that goes. While I get everything prepped I'm gonna enjoy watching this, thank you again :)

Awesome Paul! Still need to finish that Alfa 155 Martini DTM I started for your group build a few months ago, and these will certainly put me on the right track! The temperature got a little too hot for me to do modeling but I plan to get back into it once I am back from my holiday in Scotland! I am thinking about stripping back all the painting I did on the body so far for the Alfa, as I have the Apex now and I want to try and to a better job this time round. Thanks for the videos!

Hi Paul, thanks for doing the new series, always good to see how other modelers build their models. The EMA glue is very toxic and poisonous if you breath it in so i hope you're wearing a respirator with organic vapor filters fitted or using the spray booth to extract the fumes. I'd hate to see you get ill.

Hello Paul, just opened a box received from your shop with this car, sponges, buffers, etc. And starting to watch the series again, building along. A question - why do you prefer to polish back the plastic after removing mold lines vs the technics of scrubbing the whole car with 600 grid to help primer stick nicely?
@InternationalScaleModeller5 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy, i polish it back to ensure any surfaces blemishes are gone then scrub the surface for primer :) thanks for watching and commenting - Paul :)

Great video , but i have question: what about re-scribing panel lines?

Yes i have done that before but only so it'll hold a panel line wash better, im not a fan of the way the wash looks though so dont do it anymore, thanks for watching and commenting - paul

Hello I am a complete beginner and as I’m sure you can appreciate for a new comer it can be quite daunting to someone who wants to come into the hobby who knows nothing but also start correctly you are obviously a experienced modeller so your advice will be much appreciated I have just subscribed to your Chanel and hope to watch all your videos so my 4 questions are 1 what model kit car and scale would you recommend for a beginner such as myself to start with ? 2 Have you done a video for beginners showing step by step building a first timer kit ? 3 which model company do you recommend I purchase my first car from as good quality detail is important and finally 4 what equipment should a beginner buy to get him started ps I’d like to build British classic cars if possible Paul
@InternationalScaleModeller3 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul. I missed your comment sorry buddy. Tamiya and any of the road cars would be my choice. Check out my recent video of the rx7 I spray painted. 2 same as above mate. 3 Tamiya mate you can’t really go wrong with them. Equipment is hard to answer as there’s so much. Watch my videos and see what I use is my best advice. Sorry for the late reply

Where can i find the sanding sticks in the uk? And will any spray paint be ok for this build?
@InternationalScaleModeller3 жыл бұрын
Www.umpretail.com. You take your chance with anything that’s not made for modelling paint wise, so youre best test spraying first as some other paints can be too hot and melt the plastic
