Two women tried to occupy an empty parking space for their friend who was on the way to the car park. A driver then pushed the women away with his car and forced his way to the same parking spot in eastern China’s Jiangsu province.

i think the driver and the people are both equally wrong, nudging a person back with a car can be dangerous and lead to serious injury. I dont think the parking slot was worth bumping into people with a car. Think of it as a traffic stop, the driver pulls over and the cop pulls a gun and shoots em. Uh, of course not, standing in the parking lot is annoying but not safety hazard. The driver could have tried to comunicate or had the passenger get the security to remove them. Reversing their car right into them is a huge safety hazard, so yes he is more to blame. Two people fighting, the one who throws the punch will get in more trouble than the one who initiated the argument. This make sense. It's not like the women didn't get reprimanded as well.

From my experience, colleges love giving parking tickets and there are a lot of teachers that are unforgiving on being late, so there's obviously a lot of factors that can drive motivations to get that clearly available parking spot rather than spend more moments looking for another one. You aren't in the wrong for parking a car in a car parking space, so you technically aren't at fault. The only way a person would spin the story into blaming the driver is acting like being nice and sacrificing your livilihood for others is a requirement by law, but it's not soooooo.

Yes, the same happened to me in Luxembourg Gare Station, as two ladies were standing in an empty spot for their friend who was on way. Unlike here, there were no more any free spots. My friend argued with them and we put the car there as we came first.

Are you blind? This wasn't "while reversing", the two women already occupied the slot before the car came. If you ask me, the driver is full of arrogance. Shanghainese plates on top of that, infamous for their snobby attitude. You know this can be considered assault in court? In my country, "chopping" a parking space is considered as a crime and those who did it would be fined around RM 1000 to RM 2000. Edit: Hello everyone, thanks for the likes. As shown in the video, the driver did not communicate with the women of their intention, which could be dangerous for the women. Anyway, in Chinese law system, the driver only get a "warning", which does not do any harm for him.

Saw this in Miami. Guy ran into a guy standing in a spot his girlfriend was already backing into cutting her off. The guy who got ran into took out a gun and shot the other guy dead as a doornail for running into him. Although he was charged, the charges were dropped when the shooter used the same laws cops do when being ran into by someone. Got off Scott free. Yes, in the US running into someone with a car on purpose is considered a deadly assault and people can legally shoot you for it.
