It is better to charge the battery with a cable than to charge the battery with the help of a petrol engine, because a petrol engine usually consumes significantly more petrol when you use it to charge the battery. use the hybrid mode use the circulation then you transfer energy to the battery every time releasing the accelerator pedal or braking. and even in the countryside there are downhills

In hybrid mode, of course, it will be significantly longer. and especially when using the generators on the wheels as much as possible. that is, to transfer energy to the battery when you release the accelerator pedal and use it as a soft brake And when you brake with the brake pedal. and you can probably even with this Mercedes also have sailing mode. thus rolling downhill slopes that you can easily find in the countryside. one purpose of the electric motor may be that the petrol engine does not have to work as much. much like King Kong has pushed the car from behind

Be nice if in the early twenties they bring out a replacement battery with double the energy density as a replacement. They do it with the early Leaf EV. The car is worth updating with this then. The tech used in this battery is already old tech.

Hi, I have some question-related c 350e. I plan to bay this car and my question is related to consumption. What is consumption if I drive constantly on the motorway? Is it car use battery as well or I will drive only on petrol engine? I spend 80 % on the motorway. Also if I keep the car in hybrid mod do I need to charge it every days or car will keep the optimal level battery? Thanks
@Endfloat4 жыл бұрын
It will use the battery to supplement engine power, but the engine will be running and you will need to charge the battery to get the best out of it. Depending on driving style, I'd estimate you'd be seeing 45mpg, which is impressive for a car with this amount of power.

@Endfloat4 жыл бұрын
Thinking of our child's buggy, I think it would be a struggle to be honest. A stroller, yes, but a full buggy would be tight. And even if you did get the buggy in, you wouldn't have much room for any of the other child related paraphernalia.

Also, if you don’t use your handbrake when park the vehicle, you can potentially damage your auto gearbox in a long run. P isn’t enough. The weight of the car need to be held by the handbrake not the transmission.
@Endfloat4 жыл бұрын
Putting this car in park also puts the handbrake on automatically. It's an electric handbrake.
@attilab.28184 жыл бұрын
Endfloat I know but still wrong, the car’s weight will still be held by the transmission as it only engages the handbrake after you put it in ‘P’. The key is the proper order: 1. After stopped the car, put it in ‘N’ not ‘P’. 2. While pressing the foot brake, apply the handbrake. 3. Release the foot brake. You’ll now feel that the car moves a bit before the handbrake blocks the wheels. So the handbrake holds the car, not the transmission. 4. Now you can put in ‘P’.
