My new goal is to break 30k at least 1 month. I’m also being looked at for a promotional opportunity into finance so I might not be on the sales floor for my next update.

One thing that I can recommend to people starting out is to make sure you walk everyone back to their car when you finish with them. The amount of times I see sales people say bye and wave them off from their desk is insane. Walk everyone back to their car always. The number of deals I got as a result is staggering. People will tell you things they normally don’t inside the dealership. Plus it’s professional to do and that’s what we are. Professionals not some hacks. I’ve been in the industry now for 15 years and I must say it’s the best.

Andy, these videos are great. Literally every video I’ve seen you put out adds value. Zero filler videos. I’ve watched dozens so far and I’ve implemented a few of these ideas into my business even though I’m now selling Home Security and Smart Home Automations. I was BDC for 2 years at a Chevy dealership and then on the floor there for another 2 as a salesperson and I WISH I had seen these back then.. I have some natural gifts as a salesperson but have lacked that killer instinct and I’ve grossly underperformed up until literally the end of 2022.. I finished 2022 having earned a total of $56,000 in gross commissions averaging $4,666/mo. I’m currently on a PIP for lack of monthly average production. All last year I felt like a failure. I started watching your videos about halfway through December 2022 and started January feeling a brand new identity emerging.. now I’m not saying that it’s ONLY these trainings that are the catalyst but these have been undeniably inspiring. So far in 2023 I have $5,500 in commissions pending (paid bi-weekly) and a fiery enthusiasm driving me forward into the new year. That’s over DOUBLE my income average last year and it’s only the 7th of the month! This to me is proof of concept. It’s on me now to stoke the flame and burn those self-imposed limits to the fucking GROUND! I suppose I found your channel in God’s perfect timing. Motivation wanes but discipline sustains, and that’s my focus. So now, wish me luck!

Andy, I’ve worked in automotive for about 13 years, but in service. I married a tech and eventually opened our own shop. My husband passed away unexpectedly last year and I fell into a sales job for the first time ever. I was floundering and had to take a two week break to regroup and reconsider. Can’t believe I grew up in Norman and never met you. My college roommate was one of the Moore sons lol. He actually tried to talk me into going to work at one of the dealerships, but I had another path I wanted to experience. Seeing this at that time would have absolutely changed the direction I chose to go and changed my life considerably. I love your videos. I am the GM at a Chevrolet Buick GMC store in SC. The one thing I relate to the most about this video is the crap sandwich you have to eat to make it. I started in the Service department as a oil changer in 1999. Broke with a wife and kid where pizzahut buy 1 get 1 for $2.99 bread sticks and water was a great meal for us. After 3 years I was a certified tech on commission. After 8 years I was the lead tech, after 16 years I became the service manager and then a year later when my store was killing it they made me the Service Director over all their stores. Two years later they gave me my own store because of my work ethic and productivity. BUT... It doesn't stop there... I am still actively trying to get better every day, That's thy I am here watching your videos. Thanks again.

I sold cars for over 12 years and your hands on information is excellent. I sold new cars from Nissan , Toyota and Honda in southern California. There were NUMEROUS times over the years that I was lucky to get only one up for the entire day shift . I had to fight to get that one. It was so frustrating that sometimes that only up for my entire shift would be a person going to the service department. On the weekdays it was very hard to actually have an opportunity to talk to three or four customers for the day. The weekends were usually the only times I would get a shot at 4 customers or more. My best advice to new salesman is if you want to make big money you need to work at a very large volume store that would enable you to talk with three or four customers during a 8 to 3 shift on the weekdays. A lot of times I had to work the night shift too because I did not have enough customers to talk to .

Believe it or not , even-though I last sold cars in Oct of 1997 , over the years I still have lots of dreams about the car business. For some reason almost all of them were not about negotiating with a customer in the booth . They were also very rarely about me selling a car and making a sale. The vast majority of the dreams were nightmares of different bad situations car salesmen face at working for a dealership. LOL

Omg! How did I not know about you?!?! I've bumped into a few books, done training, looked up videos, and I missed you? Anyhow, I've learned that I've done a lot of mistakes already and u don't have quite the best people to direct me especially at manager level. I was pushed into sales which I am greatful for at my previous dealership, but only did it for a few months during the first 3 months of covid. I've moved states and I've already thought about quitting a few times at this new place. Now I'm looking forward to taking in all your training and having my new store start respecting me as a sales person and not the one who "won't be here for longer than...."

I'm almost done with my first year of car sales. I sell at a premium preowned dealership in the poorest metropolitan area in the USA (Youngstown, Ohio) average household income is $29k a yr approx. It's a rough market. But that's no excuse. I'm listening to you daily. And we are going to kill it. Owned my own car shipping company and always wanted to sell cars.
