I found out 3 days before Christmas that I will no longer be on payroll for a restaurant group that I have been a managing partner in for 7 years. As of the 1st of the year I will have no income. I just turned 40, married with 2 kiddos. The first thing I did was applied for every sales job I could find solar, roofing, remodeling, and car sales. At my dealership we don’t offer more than it’s worth we’ve been sending out mail ads for cars that we sold and they come in as clean as can be and we lowballl the crap out of them. I had two come in today and we wouldn’t budge. I did the walk around with them and they don’t want to sell them or trade them in . We’re nowhere near ACV. When I follow up and I open up that idea they end up going somewhere else and selling it for more or get more on trade in value
