15-Year Vehicle Scrap Policy for Petrol Vehicles and 10-Year Vehicle Scrap Policy for diesel Vehicles
Having to scrap your 15yr old petrol or 10yr OLD Diesel car. In this video we talk about how cars which are well maintained , having valid PUC certificates and still very much fine to easily run for next 5 yrs are being forced to scrapped due to new scrap policy. My Hyundai i10 1.2 Magna Kappa 2008 has run less than 2 lakh kilometers just completed her 15 yrs in December and is due to be scrapped as i don't have any other option. Also there are no such benefits of scrap policy as advertised by some websites and youtubers. on paper the benefits are there but dealers don't acknowledge it , however dealerships offer discount as per model which are anyway higher than the benefits of scrap policy. So in nut shell, get your car scrapped and get the money for offers contact dealerships.

Worst policy. Only benefits government. On new cars govt gets 45-50% tax on ex-showroom (28% GST + 17% cess and other cess). Then you pay 18% on insurance, 10% (in HR) for registration. Govt is forcing to buy new cars to extort taxes.

Hi I recently shifted to Ahmedabad. I have i10 sports 1.2 2008 model Rajasthan passing, the rc got expired in 2023. Its perfectly working fine, new tyres, new battery, great engine and AC is good too. Can i get it scrapped in Ahmedabad? How much would i get to scrap it. Feeling so bad since this is my only drive ftom last 15 years

Sad to hear that my friend, I can feel your pain . You need to check your local gujrat state laws but as far as I know no car is allowed beyond 15yrs. If yes than lucky you If not call cars24 and they will guide you. You can fetch upto 45 40k

Bhai mat lo, 13 14 saal purani gaadi hai, kharcha zyada degi and sukoon kam. Aur suno Honda ke parts local shop par nahin milte maruti Hyundai Mahindra aur tata ki tarah. Mehnga kharcha hai. Mat lo ki h paise laga ke bhale hi choti gaadi le lo 7 8 saal purani maruti ha Hyundai.. baaki aapki marzi ... 15 saal purani car ka ban dilli ncr se 150km range tak hai. Gaadi bhale hi up ki ho dilli ke 150 km ke radius mein nahin aa sakti

Bhai meri car to app ki car se bhi achi condition main hai. Lekin is 15 saal ki wajah se scrap ban kar reh gayi. Govt. Ko isko time period 25 saal karna chahiye.

Bhai koi time period nahin hona chahiye as long as car emission norma meet kar rahi hai. Diesel car koi si bhi 15 saal purani petrol car se bhi zyada pollution karti hai usse kyun nahin karte ban fir
