Unapologetically dancing in your room by yourself is one of the best things. Especially if you’re not exactly “good” at dancing I just came back to this song and realized that this is one of the best songs to dance to alone in your room. That was before my time, but it's been really cool finding the traces he left there, and meeting the people (those remaining anyway) who knew him back then. And yeah, this song could only have come from a very low place. It's testament to his artistic ability that it captures the feeling so well. From the depths of that particular art site to playing the late-night TV shows and selling out famous venues, what an incredible progression. I saw them play last night in fact, and it was a damn good show. Most awkward crowd I've ever seen at a rock concert. I only wish they had played Bodys.

I like to think about that quite a bit when I’m feeling discouraged and thinking about peers of mine who are far more successful than me. I really like this video. It's one of my, if not, my favourite video on this entire platform/site. It's so hopeful despite its gruelling dealings with intense emotions, anxiousness, and desperation, and it's just so good. My parents and friends and sister are annoyed I listen and play it so much, and usually I would at this point, but it's just so good. As with Will Toledo's projects are noted all the time, it's "relatable" - it makes me feel heard in this confusing time and I can say maybe so likewise for many others. I like how it's just him being genuine and true to himself, and especially reminds me of the nostalgia of not having to have a video with "tons of elaboration" put into it (which, don't get me wrong, is magnificent and I love those kinds of videos), it's just that this video sparks an inspiration within me that cannot feat to, idk, Nathan Fielder Dancing in 2008ish? lol (Cannot be compared but it's the only video that reminds me of such at this point). I still love it very much (and CHS in general very much), I don't feel as resonant with this video specifically since I don't live in a dorm anymore, but I still appreciate it for being relatable to my recent past. It's still definitely my favorite band and I still love this song. As much as I'd love to narrow down one video as my favorite, there's such a diverse range of videos. I went through a playlist of videos I'd saved as ones I really love, and I found a lot of funny ones, a few surreal and artistic comedies, some really wholesome or comforting videos for whatever reason.
