every song on the album except stop smoking are honestly amazing songs on their own, nervous young inhumans included. it’s just that in comparison to all the other tracks on the album it’s pretty weak. it honestly seems like it leaves the least impact on the album, while something like stop smoking which is the weakest song musically is a huge symbol for the hopelessness near the end of the relationship. i’m honestly kinda bummed that he didn’t dig into the lyrics all that much, they’re one of my favorite parts about the album

So I really like this version. There was a lot on the original that, as much as I tried, I could not get into. That said there were some exceptions and hearing the new version of some songs has thrown me for a loop. I really miss the ending to Beach-life in death with the trippy vocal cutting, and I really miss the original end to nervous inhumans. Mostly though I miss the mood of sober to death on the original. Felt a lot darker and more sincere. The new one is fantastic but if I had to pick one version of sober to death it would be the original. Other than that the remaster is great. Good review guy
