Decarbonisation ke naam pe spray karte hai thoda sa...i till date couldn't understand what is engine Decarbonisation....pls explain...plus mujhe supervisor ne ek baar loota tha washing mai engine screening keh ke..something like that.. & charged me rs. 800 bucks...decarbonisation costs 900 to 1200...plus lot of bullshit ...i had an accent and now verna 2020.. u wont believe that once i had paid rs 21000/- for my car service...my verna's first free service is due in last week of september..this time i have decided not to shell even a single penny extra on service till i own this car...bahut dildaari dikha di & ullu ban gae...u are doing a great job dost!! Your r right Sir...last week I experienced with my Maruti alto car service time. Only 11000km 1st they said Rs.8500 for normal service. But I denied and I did only one running problem work and in the bill they added AC disinfectant spray bill Rs.750. Next day I complained in the Maruti tollfree no. On same day at least 5-6 time they (service centers) call me and apologized and requested me to withdraw the complaint. I bound them for refund my 750 and at last they refunded my extra bill.

This is common across all companies service center...firstly they don't allow to see the service area or allow customer to be present near the car when its serviced....Oil change is a big scam along with such other charges....Full credit to you to bring honest stuff in ur videos....Very few KZbinrs.have the guts to do this.....

In my first service 6 years back for my Hyundai Verna diesel, in Bangalore a similar estimate was given with engine bay coating etc. I don’t understand why people don’t talk about Hyundai’s loot at their service Center. In the last 6 years most of my 10k services in Hyundai service Center have been estimated at Rs 13-15K each. I had to negotiate to bring the service costs down each time and this too without any replacements of parts except for what is prescribed in the owners manual. It’s true that Car manufactures don’t make money by selling cars, they make money at the service centres.

At one of the Tata Authorized Service center, They Offer an anti rust Coat under the vehicle. When I inquire for what type of coat they did. The service man show me a bucket of black paint. What they just did, they just paint the major surfaces underneath the vehicle, where ever the brush reaches easily. They Charge around 700 INR for that local Black paint. That was First and last time that I trust these guys blindly.

Once at Maruti service centre when my celerio amt was 2 years old they recommended to do cleaning of fuel injectors. After allowing this my fuel consumption became worse by 4 km per lit. On repeated complaints they have not rectified . I think they must have taken out my good injectors and sold it outside. Never allow them to touch the fuel injectors if you are getting good mileage,.

Really beneficial information. I have seen one case where wheel alignment and wheel rotation of car is done in 1st free service by service centre. I would request every owner, read car service manual before you go for car service. I do it and it help n make aware you.

My kia Seltos done 10K kms and went for service get estimate like 5000 but I went with research form Kia website which says Rs 2516 including GST, estimate includes 1300 wheel alignment some coating etc. I said straight away I will not pay anything extra than 2516. Then service guy understand and bill was 2516 after service. So if you don't question them then they think that this person don't know anything so loot him.

Labour charges are big inflators of service cost. Nowadays they are more than parts cost. To add insult to the injury there is cgst + sgst which ensures you will never recover from the shock

Be very very careful with what you say, do and correspond with them. Scrutinize everything. Ask questions until you're comfortable. At the end of the day it's your money. If possible stay in the customer lounge while your car is being serviced. Announce your presence, let the service personnel know you're in the premise. Anything added to the work order with our your approval need to be questioned. It's not about ₹10 or ₹100000, it's about their intent to milk money from us. Inspect the worms done before signing the gate pass

On 1st Sep 2020, Hyundai Bhopal asked me to change the Eon's clutch assembly for Rs. 6500 but when I got it checked from a local mechanic, he just changed the clutch wire Rs. 410 only. Now the clutch is working fine.

Put camphor in the ac filter . Costs very less. You can put it on regular basis. It will disinfect and deodorise and make your car fragrant

Guys please check the dealer. If he is really trustworthy only then put your foot forward. After doing so much research on which car we should finally buy, we opted for Skoda Rapid style automatic Petrol, and here are we today regretting for the same. Think twice before you buy. After sales service from Skoda is pathetic. From day one there is some or the other problem but no one to rescue. Dealer gave me fake price quotation, & cheated more than 75000/- Also not gave us the second key of my car. Collected 1% TCS i.e. 12000/- as per government norms & didn’t deposited in government till date. I am feeling completely cheated by Skoda and do not know what to do with my car. So, request all those who plan to buy Skoda to reconsider their decision and ensure they have adequate reasons to buy.

2000 KM, if not covered 1 year, just don't change anything. Vacuum Clean up, Check oil level, Check Air pressure, correct tightening of bolts and nuts. Job done. And any generic inspection should be free at 2nd Service. It should technically a 0 INR service.

Very true. I sent my honda amaze car for first free service and they told me to get rust coating done, silencer coating and engine coating done. I told them NO and they didn't seem happy and said it was necessary for the car. But ultimately i persisted adn didnt pay even a single rupee for the first service

I own a rapid, Last week I went for 1st year free service @7k kms. Advisor gave me an estimate of 12.5K (included sanitization, wheel A&B, & some stupid stuff) I clearly told him to remove all add ons and do general service, which costed me 5.2k., I felt that's a great amnt for Skoda..

Skoda has reduced their Rapid car price but recover many more from servicing, labour & consumables. They sell cars in Indian Rupees & all others charges would be recovered in Euros. @Dilip Varma If you are telling that you paid 5200 for your first checkup at 7000 km then my friend you have been thoroughly fooled. I have been driving Skoda Rapid for 5 years now so I am telling you with experience. At 7000 km you are supposed to take the car for general check up and no part or filter needs to be replaced or cleaned. At max you can go for engine oil top up (not replacement) which costs only Rs.15-1600.

This is very much prevalent in Mumbai. I own a Tata Tigor XZA+ One of the service stations gave me an estimate of around 9k for 3rd service. Thankful I had read the user's manual and got it done in around 3.5-4k including 750 of sanitization due to COVID, from a different service center.

Dealership is itself a big scam. Car companies should start selling cars on Flipkart and Amazon. Branded cars actually do not need any service apart from Oil change , Filter changes which user can do itself or from any local garage. I get my Hyundai car serviced at Shell Petrol Pump in 3500 rupees and my yearly running is 6000 kms. I have not faced any problem in last 11 years

Hello Sir, I have a 2016 Hyundai Grand i10 Magna. Every time I give to a service at Authorized service center they are asking for AC Disinfectant, Fuel Injection Cleaning, Brake Overhaul, Throttle body cleaning, Wheel Balancing and Alignment. I have asked them to stop AC Disinfectant, Wheel Balancing and Alignment, Throttle body cleaning but advisor was forcing me to do Brake Overhaul. Hardly my Car run 17k in 4 Years and it is single hand driven very neatly driven. I seriously feel these people thug consumer who are less educated regarding automobiles. 🙄🙄

many times parts are changed with older parts even in authorized service center . this is a open secret . i recommend manufacturers laser print the same code number in all the engine parts and tell it to the buyer

मेरे पास भी पोलो है। 24000 km लगभग 4 साल में चली है। जुलाई में सर्विसिंग के लिए गया था तो लगभग 6800 खर्चा आया ।इसके अलावा एक शॉकर का बुश बदली हुआ तो उसको ले के 7800 जिसमे लेबर चार्ज ही 3200 था। मुझे भी disinfectant के लिए बोला तो मैंने बोला भाई, मैं अकेला ही चलता हूँ हमेशा,जरूरत नही तो हटा दिया। और भी कुछ कुछ चीजें मैंने अपने से हटा दी और यहाँ के मैनेजर ने भी कुछ चीजें अपने से भी हटा दी कि आपका गाड़ी तो उतना चला नही, रहने दीजिए,बाद में करा लीजिएगा। तो ये सब तो सारा कुछ सर्विस सेंटर वालों की नीयत पर ज्यादा निर्भर करता है और दूसरा ग्राहक की जानकारी पर वरना वो कहते है न कि बेवकूफ को चुना हर कोई लगाने को तैयार है। और बेहतर है कि एक बार कस्टमर केअर में भी पता कर सकते है कि क्या ये सारी चीजें जरूरी है। कंप्लेन करने पर VW वाले तगड़ा एक्शन लेते है और डीलर को फाइन भी मरते है। रेटिंग और फीडबैक में खराब रिमार्क्स भर के देखिए, फिर कैसे वो आपके पीछे पीछे घूमेंगे। VW ने 2019 के जनवरी में बोला था कि वो लोकलाइजेशन पर ध्यान देगी जिस से पार्ट्स और सर्विस कॉस्ट घटेगा, मगर जमीन पर उसका असर नही दिखता है। मुझे पार्ट्स का जो कॉस्ट 2018 में पड़ा था, वही 2020 में भी आया। दूसरा इसका पार्ट्स बाहर में मिलेगा नही मिलेगा, या नकली मिलेगा, समस्या तो है ।इसलिए सर्विस सेंटर से सर्विसिंग कराने में ही ठीक है मगर क्या काम कराना है, वो खुद ही ध्यान देना पड़ेगा, वरना सर्विस सेन्टर वाले तो तैयार ही रहते लूटने के लिए। @mycarhelpline सर मेरे तरफ से आप VW से पूछिए क्या वाकई उनका सर्विसिंग कॉस्ट 2019 की घोषणा के बाद से कम हुआ है या ये नेता लोग जैसा वायदा किया जा रहा है?
