17:56 If you want a more secure crimp on that connector so the wire can never be pulled out accidentally - strip the insulation back roughly twice as far, twist the wire strands and then fold it over halfway. Then slide it into the connector and crimp it. It will be impossible to pull it out. The wire will break before it slides out of the connector. 👍

Fernando, make sure you keep an eye on that roof moon for water leak, the drain tubes that run on the A- pillar get clogged on top by the roof moon rails and it'll ruin the interior of the car.

My first and last Sony head unit use to skip so bad playing CDs. Slight bump in the road, skip. I ripped it out and shot it a few times. Never again.... Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine. My only go to Head units. Just my opinion.

It's odd the OBD2 adapter is not a pass through design. I guess they want you to unplug that adapter every time you need to access the port? If it's just 3 wires, it seems easier to just tap those wires into the back of the plug. Does that make sense or seem like a bad idea?

I don't ever use Idatas OBD2 plug....I cut it off and solder the wires into the OEM OBD2 because i know mechanics will just leave it unplugged after doing any service work

in this case you shouldn’t cut power antenna it simply plug in and you shouldn’t add remote turn on acc bat and gnd it have remote turn on that can use this dashkit and wiring horness set is much more expensive than sony converter this is finished wiring horness if old style that you have to solder all wire add when solder together is fine but if finished wiring horness is different story
