Scrapyard Wars, that was brilliant! I wish the BBC would bring that back. But they didn't just build cars, there were all sorts of challenges. I remember one where they had to build a jet powered train! I also remember Edd China was still in one episode!

Monster Garage will forever be my favourite car TV show. The stuff they built was so freakin' cool, especially as a kid watching it. The fact that they started with a 3k budget meant they never hid the fact that their projects weren't of insane quality, just really rad. Also, the narrator yelling "FREEBIE!!" was so hype. 😂👌

If its 15 part build series on a car or bike restoration, where you can see all the fabrication and detail that goes into making it, that's great. If its a 15 part series where 99% of it is useless daily vlogging while getting starbucks and advertising some garbage product then no.

Was looking for a comment mentionning Mastermilo. Milo must have been copied many times. I know of two shows that actually reached out to him to see the Rollgolf in person, film a sort of crossover video, and then try and build a copy on their own show. One was german and the other one russian (maybe that's what you're thinking of, Michel. It's Garage 54). Loved the old Mastermilo channel, now it's mostly tank stuff sadly. Other than the Rollgolf, i really liked the Duoclio : two Renault Clio fronts assembled and still functionning with steering. It would spin so fast when two people operated it!

Kinda sad he didn't even drop an honorable mention for Weaponizers; a car show where two teams built Armageddon rigs bristling with machine guns and plate steel, put them in an arena, and made them fight each other. Granted, it only had a handful of episodes before I'm sure somebody somewhere in an insurance agency said "Wait, we're covering -what-, now?" and funding got pulled, but it was pretty rad. Like Twisted Metal before it sucked, or Mad Max.

I personally dont mind as much since leepu is clearly trying to make his own style and is trying to expresd that originality. I mean you got to have to give the guy some respect, its easy enough to restore any car to driving condition but to revamp the design of the car from the ground up is something else. I had a 77 thunderbird with the 400 and landau package and my parents tried to get me on overhaulin because I LOVED that show. Great video but you need to check out a British show called Scrapheap Challenge which then spawned Scrapheap Challenge Scrappy Races. They had a truck with a genuine Spitfire Engine in it. You could make an entire episode because there builds make Pimp mt ride look normal.

There was a show in Germany called "pimp my bicycle" during the time of pimp my ride. One was a rolling dj booth. The late 90's, early 2000's....what a time to be alive
