Jesus christ, it's a WATER LASER. I bet this was a good day at work for those guys. "What are we doing today, boss? Cleaning concrete? Washing cargo containers?" "No. We're going to destroy a car on KZbin for shits and giggles."
@joeonejoeone Жыл бұрын
Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

8760 Finnish is a grammatically extremely complicated language, oddly enough related to hungarian, however on the other side, the letters are pronounced exactly as they are written, and the same everywhere. Which leads to funny results when they speak english. 😆 We Norwegians cannot understand finnish at all, however many finnish people can also speak swedish which we do understand, and they will then mostly understand us, if we speak slowly.

The lower pressure ones actually press harder because they use a greater volume of water where the higher pressure is less water volume but through a smaller opening. We do water blasting at my job and the 10,000 psi gun is actually the hardest to hold on to. Maybe not fire hose level but it will hold me up at a little over 200lbs. It will bruise up your shoulder like you were out shooting a shotgun all day, coincidentally they call those water guns shotguns as well...lol.

Given how hard a 250hp engine goes in a car weighing 1.5+ tons, I have no doubt how hard it can push water through a pump. This thing is a weapon.
@crandonborth Жыл бұрын
Diesel Hp is different from Gas as the Torque is far higher. A Semi weighs 80,000 lbs is 500 HP… Ferrari sports car is easily 700 HP+
@AJ56 Жыл бұрын
@@crandonborth no it isn’t, torque is torque. (Torque x revs) divided by a constant = power The truck is much heavier, very poor power to weight ratio, give it the same aero and power to weight and it’ll be as fast. Diesel makes more torque at lower revs that’s all.

One new firefighting technology is high pressure water like this and sand in a nozzle that you push against steel / congrete wall. That will drill through it and then soak the room really fast. That way firefighters dont ever have to breach into the burning area so no danger of backdraft etc. I'm not sure if any Finnish fire departments have that thought.

Cobra cutting extinguishers have beeen in use in Finland for more than a decade and they're becoming more and more popular as the knowledge spreads. Cobra Cold Cut Systems Svenska AB invented the whole thing and the systems are made in Sweden. High pressure water with fine sand in it is how we cut thru slabs of granite to make beautiful granite kitchens and baths. Watching that slice thru stone like a hot knife thru butter is impressive to watch. Never gets old. I remember a long time ago learning how to use a water pressure cleaning system in Michigan. Interesting. Normally with concrete they try to avoid sticking new wet concrete to already dry concrete, coz it doesnt stick as well as if it was all one big constant pour. But i guess its better than knocking down the building & starting over
@WoodworkerDon6 жыл бұрын
@@roidroid they also wrapped large cylindrical concrete columns holding up bridges and freeway overpasses with steel sheets. They had actually started that project before the big quake happened. A number of large portions of freeway overpasses, that had not been upgraded yet with the steel encasements, failed and collapsed. Southern Calif. and particularly Los Angeles county have some of the strictest building codes, in large part due to the frequency and strength of earthquakes.
