Car won't rev pass 3k rpms

I changed my intake manifold and throttle body to a skunk2 and now it doesn't let me it Reved passed 3 the first 2 but then it went back to it. Dont know whats wrong with it please help

You just remove the plus sign from the battery for about 30 to 50 seconds then try the car again it should because the car rebooted its self

@@DBGaming_1 well the reason why my car limit to 3k rpm was just cause of faulty wiring and I couldn't find a mechanic to figure out which one was it. My car still drove like normal and nothing else broke but just was slow as hell and couldn't go any faster than 65mph lol

check the fuel injectors. I had same problem in 2.7 v6 dodge. Misfired on cylinder 4 due to the fuel injector getting stuck open. Changed it and car has ran much better since. Always run codes if your car has a computer, don't just hope you can figure it out by asking people.

For anyone having any issues I recommend starting with checking your oil, usually means your car is in limp mode and will limit rpm so no serious damage is done to the motor. By the way What exhaust is on this? Sounds sweet

I have a 96 integra with a b20b swap. Mines like that to and also when I drive . It will not let me go past 3000rpm every gear. I did most of the basic diagnose and nothing seems to help? There is no check engine on which is weird. Any help? Thanks

Mr. Nice Guy Redfield when I had mine it did it twice the first time it was my one of my sensors on the throttle body and the 2nd time my ecu somehow got fried but also never got a check engine light

yeah idk man sounds like your rev limiter got glitched down a few k revs. mine is just acting up idles like its got a couple pistons misfiring. it hesitates like a mf when going up in rpms and hits 4k then drops to 2k. fucking alero 4 banger piece of shit.

This is emergency state of computer, it does not allow to pass 3k rpm, i had same problem with civic 7 1.6 vtec. My problem turned out to be the LPG system i have installed. Better go to diagnostics and it will show you the problem. It could be everything - some sensor or weak cable, everything connected to car's computer.

it could be the Computer, Need to upgrade some frimware, Sounds like launch control, it should only work on 1 gear, after that she should rev normally, if not you'll need to get someone to remap your computer, or check all your sensors, Hoses, could be a wide rage of things...
