British folklore says it's lucky to see a black cat so let's hope she brings you lots of luck! Certainly lucky to see two real long trains on one video. Don't know how those two locos were managing with that huge consist. They really had their hands full.

The reason the crossing signals appear to flash and then not flash is probably related to the shutter speed or frame rate of the camera. Sometimes when an individual signal light is on, the shutter will be open or a frame will be captured so that the light will appear on in the video. The camera and the flashing signal lights are not in sync so at other times the shutter will be open or a frame will be captured when a light is off. If you'd like to try to avoid that effect, you could go into manual settings on the camera and try lowering the the frame rate (although this could cause the trains to blur somewhat and shouldn't be set below 30fps) or increase the shutter speed (this will require setting the ISO, which is the sensitivity of the sensor, higher in proportion so that the exposure remains the same). I haven't experimented with this particular situation so can't offer more specific settings. Thanks for all the great train videos as well as the cute pet trailers!

I will soon be taking pictures of the old malthouse in Lichtenrade. the building has now been converted for apartments and for offices for start-ups.The long rail transport unit at the end of the 2nd train is also great. With us, they are a maximum of 240 long. Too bad he didn't have spaghetti on board. Too bad that little Norfie grew up so quickly. Oh the little one is just cute. Greetings from Berlin/ Germany. Sven.........Oh yes, before I forget, you had a big explosion on a highway in Ohio. They have also shown this in our news. Good that there was only property damage.

The issue with the lights is because they're LED lights. The lights might always be on when seen with our eyes, the frame rate of our digital cameras cause the lights to go in and out of sync with the camera, causing them to appear to fade on and off. I've noticed it on my daytime videos, even on my road trips down to Thurmond when I'm driving through the tolls on I-77 (the arrows, electronic signs, etc. flicker), but at night, the lights appear normal.
