+xMDCxParadox Merry Christmas! hmm.. I'd say around 15-17 meters of vinyl from the roll. Can't remember how much I used for this project. It's my customer's car, not mine though:)

Hey man, as always great job. How did you do the hangin segment of the hood, did it on A4 and had to cut in the middle, I believe you have solution, share if you care=)) Appreciate it

Hello! I did it in one piece by stretching a large area and managing the wrinkles and tension on the critical segment. You have to stretch the vinyl away from the middle so that there won't be too much bunched up vinyl. Otherwise I'd had to make the cut like you did. Had to use a little bit of extra help for heating the vinyl while I pulled and stretched. then couple of cuts and some re-heating so there won't be too much stress on the edges. It's quite a challenging area, probably on of the hardest on the whole car. But once you learn the correct stretching technique it's pretty straight forward.

Thanks! I always buy a full roll which is 25m but you should be alright with around 18 meters.
