My Father had one of these for many years, from new in the late 60's right up until the early 90's. I remember it very well indeed. It was very modern looking in its day. I recall a day on the River at Maidstone once when the engine packed up and we had to row the Caravan the last mile or so.... Not something many people can claim to have done!

Wouldn't the hitch get all fouled with water plants and weeds rather quickly? and wouldn't the wheels would be very prone to grounding in shallow water? This would be difficult to beach on a lakeside like a regular houseboat, I realize that this particular model was built in Britain probably specific for canal use but they still do sell similar vehicles today, at least in Oz and I believe even in the US.
