The speedo takes no time to get used to, compared to a normal vehicle where the speedo is not directly in front of you but actually in front and down, you at least keep your eye line at windscreen level. I hire 4WDs often for work and have found it very annoying to look through the steering wheel, below the top rim, to see the speed and gears etc. This is despite the fact I had to do that on every vehicle I have owned for the last 40 years. I also find if you crank the seat up to its highest position to start with and then adjust down it solves the footwell problem.

I like them but would stick to the wagon as space in back seat's not the best.
