My husband is from Scotland and there’s no way I could ever compete w/his Mum’s famous bread pudding, but you make it seem like it’s actually possible to come pretty dang close! This looks awesome; I hope it’s 1/2 as easy as u make it seem.

Did you bake the croissants in the oven after cutting them in pieces or not?
@thebakingjournal Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for the question. No, I didn't bake the croissants in the oven after cutting them in pieces. They were a couple days old and were able to soak up the custard.

Gala apples are pretty popular where I live year round. But this recipe is delicious with any firm, crunchy apple like Granny Smith or Pink Lady. And combining different types of apples together is also great!

What kind of apples?
@thebakingjournal Жыл бұрын
Hi Myrna! Great question. Any crisp apple will work. I used a combination of granny smith and pink lady apples but feel free to use whatever apples are readily available in your area. Let me know if you try out the recipe. I think you will love it.
