Caramel Apples and Hand Wrapped Candy

Save a bunch of money and have fun doing it. Make your own caramel apples and your own delicious hand wrapped candies. So good it can make you cry!
Recipe for Sweetened Condensed Milk
3/4 cup dry milk or 1 &1/2 cup instant dry milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup hot water
Mix in a blender. This makes the same as a 14 ounce can.
Recipe for Caramel Apples
2 sticks of real butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 - 14 oz can of Sweetened Condensed milk or recipe above
2 teaspoons vanilla
crushed nuts and assorted other roll ons.
Follow directions in the video, or watch this great fellow. He is great.

That looked like so much fun and I know It had to taste even better. Made me a memory before I got sick ,I would make Christmas goodies and "hide" them didn't work they always found them. So my sweet daughter and I would make our cookies on Christmas Eve. We would turn the tree on, alittle music and abakin' we would go.. Oh these look amazing! I need to go to the apple orchard now...! That and I FINALLY ordered my dehydrator! I cant afford a Excalibur but I ordered a nesco which is really good! So I want to dehydrate some apple rings and sauce!

I do have a video on that. Its 3/4 cup sugar and 3/4 cup powdered milk or 1& 1/2 cup instant powdered milk and 1/2 cup hot water. Blend it up and there you go.

Also, one more question: Also, I have a favorite recipe I'd like to can for future use: my Spaghetti sauce, which includes ground beef. Should I cook it up and then can it? Or is this a problem with what they call, "double processing"? How long will it last under pressure canning if in essense, twce cooked? The reason I ask is because you have said that you have canned a lot of your spaghetti sauce.

@@kajwojones , one of her friends posted years ago tgat she passed away in 2015, they did not say what she died from but she was sick near the end of her life, i am not sure but i think i heard it was heart problems. I rewatch her videos all the time i have for years, so sad..
