My 2008 GV V6 2.7L 4x4 has been amazing. I mainly use it for off-roading, 2-inch lift kit with 245/75R16 mud tires. Suzuki makes amazingly reliable vehicles. Unfortunately, a lot of people who don't know what they are talking about also get a voice. The Grand Vitara is the number one sold SUV in the world, Suzuki has made this model from 2006 to 2022 in different countries.

I had a 1.9 diesel and if they're not looked after they'll break down. I've just bought a 2012 2.4 with a GLP conversion. Simple petrol model for better reliability, but avoid the 2009 and 2010 that had cracked engine cases. From 2011 on you got a winner 🏆 🎉

@@otuken87 kardeşim aleykum selam; 1600 cc sahibiydim ancak ikizlerimiz oldu ve bize 1.6 üç kapı yetmeyince 2010 otomatik 2.0 benzinli beşkapılıdan aldım; 1.6 bana göre az yakıyordu ve oldukça memnundum ; 2.0 otomatik oldukça fazla yakıyor ki benimki benzinli lpg ye bulaşmadım çünkü 2.0 otomatiklerde lpg motora zamanla zarar veriyor; 2.0 a binince evet daha fazla yakıyor ancak konfor ve motor gücünün verdiği hissiyat açısından 1.6 ile dağlar değil sıradağlar kadar fark olduğunu gördüm; gerçekten maşallah 2.0 140 hp müthiş bir araç ama oldukça fazla yakıyor diğer jip türleri ile kıyasladığında şuna emin ol ki daha az yakan diğer modellerin jiplerine göre çok daha sağlam-güçlü ve extra 4H ve 4H LOCK arazi vitesleriyle ve fiyatıyla çok daha avantajlı bir seçim olduğunu düşünüyorum

1.9 is awful. Dpf issues and french built buy the 2.4 VVT and save money on repairs.

Should you buy one? Well if it's a V6 be prepared for a $1000 bill to change a $0.20 o-ring when it fails registration due to oil leaks.
