Peugeot 308 Convertible Review (2011-2014) MOST IN-DEPTH

My wife bought a 308 cc back in 2009 and we still have it. Have to say it has been a brilliant car. Also have to add that it has covered about 45,000 miles to date ( November 2024) and probably has never been driven above 60 miles an hour, Everything still works fine apart from the glove box (probably the lock has something jammed in it), and the key fobs. It opens and closes manually these days using the key on the remote rather than using the remote = probably the electronics in it are not too good. Only real problem that we have had with it are the wheels curbing and an expensive con at a local garage. Had a problem with it losing coolant. Took it to a local garage ( problems with time ) and got conned out of about £700. I was told that it was this and that and fell for it. Turned out it was the filler cap that needed renewing. I am still very angry about it. 9The garage owner drove it about for a couple of weeks in it at my expense) For most of its life it has been main dealer serviced but over the last four years I have serviced it myself. I am quite a competent amateur mechanic and it is quite easy to work on, and service. It drives great , and you really feel important when opening and closing that roof with people looking, on.The paint work is great ( silver -platinum) and there are no signs of rust anywhere on it. Great looking car, and very nice to drive. Now a cheap car that hasn't aged as the other convertibles have- classic good looking different car.

I have had 4 of these cars and loved them only wear and tear problems . Engine is solid and much better then the rcz as more seats and convertible. I have the Rolland garros now and it’s great .

Nice car, in Indonesia only 5 units and I am aiming for one but a position in the city of Makasar, Southern Sulawesi Island. Silver color, 2014, odo 10k km. I like this car cause it has 4 seats can take my wife and two children and the power is nor too big (1.6 turbo). (Jakarta)

Only 5?! Why? It wasn't sold officially in Indonesia? It's crazy for me to think that there are more Morgans in your country than 308 CCs.
