I like how the beginning is done if it is a simple task or one covered in a prior video with a link, but if it is something new or you feel it needs a recap then the more drawn out process is better. Having both in the same video is great as well as it provides a more enjoyable experience.

I don't believe magnets should be used for high performance speaker enclosures because they could rattle to death once the volume is turned up for some good thumping music. Obviously, that is a bass enclosure system. BUT, am I wrong about magnets??

Personally I HATE VIDEOS WITH JUST SOUND!!! So much so I will not watch. Most times people are watching to learn something. How can that be accomplished by listening to music watching someone do something? Sometimes you can explain how you are going to do something and if it's pretty straightforward, you could fast forward with music...those work! Razor!

I just got a pair of those UM10-22 delivered. Trying to find the perfect enclosure to build. I've never heard a T-line in person, but I do have the room as I removed the rear seat in my 2004 Ford f150 supercab. I've always been partial to sealed enclosures, so this is a difficult decision.
@maximusromptimus57983 жыл бұрын
Have you ever built enclosures for convertibles? I have a leather seat and huge top that I'd like to get sound through. Inside the passenger compartment is not an option. I have about 40W x 19H x 15D to play with, but don't know what the best solution is.

You REALLY must trust that glue. Seems like even using 'the correct adhesive', 3 years of hot summers and below zero winters will make it release and pull away.. I always use adhesive + fasteners for tight vinyl pulls.

I like the music, with voice overs, but you should keep the beginning of each step instructional . Most people watch your vids so they can learn new skills. Just keep a good mix, and keep raising the bar. We, old timers don't have enough time to try new things so I'm glad you're here trying things out for us.

I like both, but if, and when you do use music make it's volume lower than your voice. It sucks whenever I've got the volume cranked up to hear you speaking, and it switches over to music, and about peels your ears off!

much better when you explain. thanks. I have a delema maybe I can get your thoughts. I have a land Rover Discovery. and can't decide the best place to mount my 2-. 12 in subs. I don't really want a box. takes up to much room in the back. and my dog rides back there. I have considered bass tubes. but not sure where to place them. don't think I would like them hanging from the ceiling. any insight would be a big help

@TurboHawkV66 жыл бұрын
Spraying Helmaprene with a paint gun works far better than brushing it on, and you don't get the bleed through, that you typically do when using a brush. Also a bit of heat on the vinyl, especially around the corners and the inside pulls, will help get the vinyl to pull tight to the shape.
