Caravan or Motorhome. Which is Best?

Caravan or Motorhome, which is best. We look at several points for the caravan and the motorhome. Reasons to buy either. With a guest vlogger that you may have seen before somewhere? Interesting.
Personally, I’m split. It depends on the type of holiday you have as to whether a caravan or motorhome is best for you.

We started with a Travel Trailer(Caravan) and spent 2.5 years before we just upgraded to a motorhome. For us, since we are traveling nearly full-time the Motorhome offers a bit more freedom. But there are pros and cons to all classes as you mention here. So funny how your put the hat on your Motor Home Vlogger Personality! ~Bradley

Absolutely brilliant mate! Hilarious! Absolutely loved the editing, Vicky and I were cracking up laughing. Very clever. It’s very much horses for courses, having experienced both, we feel overall that a motorhome pips the caravan to the post 👍🏻

Brilliant piece, good argument for both. Like the idea of a van, but a little impractical for us. I’d love a big MH but too much dosh and the roads are too narrow for big units in uk.

definitely agree the road network here in the UK is not particularly A class friendly!! Hence the motorbike and push bikes. its not always easy but overall we prefer it

Love our MH Great for long term , short term and even just the night. ( invited to a party don’t want to drink and drive … park outside. ) Great for long distance. Easy to stop and rest. Freedom ( they call it wild?) Camping is easy. We’ve had both. MH is the most versatile for us

My wife and I have the best Rv of all !!!!...pennine pathfinder!!….I love all the 'hassle' of towing and setting up...for us its part of the experience...….and best of all...we're still under canvas!...when erected including the awning, this unit is massive!!...love your video's BTW !!

The drive in the MH is the killer for me, hideous rattling cutlery drawer on wheels and when it stops, relax in the.. oh yeah same place err no - absolutely each to their own - no MH for me though. Great vlog love it

Fantastic vlog Graham. Each have their positives and negatives, I did a vlog on the same subject with a lot of the same points. We would like to try a Motorhome one day but will stick with the caravan again. A master class in editing again 🙂🙂

Hah! Great stuff Graham - fantastic visual blend and timing - loved the hat disguise ;-) Definitely horses for courses and of course what works now for someone won't always work - luckily there's a massive choice out there. For us and the sort of places we like to take the kids now we wouldn't suit a motorhome (although I do love looking around htem and the greater sense of freedom they give) but whilst we can off grid pretty easily we can't wild camp or stop at many aires around mainland Europe so once we're shot of the kids I can see us getting a big camper van/moho and enjoying the advantages of those. If money was no object I'd have a small camper van to tow a caravan, and a big moho home with a little electric car behind/couple of vespas in the moho garage oh and maybe a big camper van too ;-)

Thanks it’s cheaper than paying someone and he always says what I want him to say. I agree with what you say. I like the idea of getting a moho and travelling Europe for months. I think I like the “idea” of it more than I’d like it in real life though 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for watching 👍🏻

You're really skilled at the video editing! Enjoyed your production style and humour! Caravan for me, better for families I think. Motorhome would be great for touring Europe or Scotland etc. I think Motorhome also good as a day van for trips to the beach...so as another commenter said a VW camper to tow the caravan would be best of all worlds if money no object! Keep up the good work 👍

Fantastically funny and well edited vlog. We absolutely love our Motorhome ( never owned a caravan) We have electric bikes to get around for essentials and to see around the area. So much freedom with pub stops, pulling over for lunch... toilet stops. So quick to set up when arrive.. Love it! Definitely one of our best “ purchases” ever 🚐🚐🚐🤩🤩🤩

I have to agree with Bob. Caravans are not for everyone. Motorhome are not for everyone. I recon it’s just what you prefer! I like the Motorhome hat🤣 Cheers Oliver

I don’t see the point of a motorhome, far more expensive than a van of the equivalent size and a lot less room inside. When you go out for the day you have to keep packing everything up. If you’re daft enough to tow a small car behind a motorhome ,you’re then restricted to the same speed limits of a caravan so any slight advantage the motorhome had is gone. And btw just wait until the new road tax comes into play on motorhomes.
