to me, its that its not just a banger its actually conveying a lot of emotion, like at 1:19 where it almost sounds cinematic with that ramping melody. Its very? thoughtful? introspective? So it has so much more of an emotionally engaging vibe to it than if it was just plainly catchy? That's why it stands out to me at least

Caravan palace rocks because they make songs that are 1930's swing with electronic instruments and effects on top, and modern day electro/edm with classical instruments and old recording effects of the 1930's mixed in to sound relevant to the era.
