You suggested you might do a PB92 video a while back, thank you for including that as part of this one. The different ways that the bolt is locked are interesting. I trust you are having a peaceful Easter break.

Good video Dr Lock Just one point, the 680 you’re showing is the obsolete version. The current 680 is of course better

This is true, Lockwood still more expensive, harder to use with restricted key system and not as easy to rekey, I still see this as a better option

Hello bro. Please do a video of start to finish cloning a key with keydiy . The entire process is not shown on a single youtube video

Knobset pokey tool works best for pulling the bolts out of the CHDPB's. The decent wire ones that come in the Carbine PD7000 series are best

Can you do a video of putting a restricted key in this lock?

11:30 That bolt retaining spring, is that accessible when it's locked or is it covered by the lock mechanism? Because, if it's accessible, then anyone can remove the bolt regardless of whether it is locked or not.

That depends on you and your bank balance, upgrade if you can afford to.

Negative. The little spring-plate he operates at 11:27 is spring-loaded, however; When the Cylinder is turned to an Unlocked position, a cam plate allows this spring-loaded plate to depress and operate as a detent to hold the bolt in either thrown or retracted position. When the Cylinder is turned to the Locked position, the cam plate revolves around and blocks this plate from depressing at all. This effectively jams the spring-loaded plate between the cam plate and locking bolt. You could potentially forcibly bend this plate if you had hammer & punch access to the tip-end of the locking bolt, but this is usually buried into the floor or up into a door header. I've been digging into a bunch of the products released from Carbine in the last ~4 years - every time I think I've found a vulnerability, there's an elegant design consideration that foils it.

They are a great lock! But the bolt retainer is shit! Apart from that zero issues
