I discovered this song the night of my 25th birthday, I think my speakers played it in loop for at least 50 hours lol... can't get tired of it. Love to listen to it alone, in the dark... makes me peaceful and wondering about the secrets of life. Absolute perfection, like it was said.

I know the feel bro... I discovered this track in a somewhat lonely, though moment of my life... for several years it was my inner anthem... still is, actually... That feeling, oceanic, intergalactic, otherworldly.... It allowed me to build a whole new world in my head at a time where I was... pretty messed up. It's so beautiful sometimes I think it came directly from the Spiritual Realm... A thousand thank you CBL, you saved my life and certainly some others too... I give you all my love.

The instrumental is taken from Joni Mitchell’s 2000’s version of “A Case of You” that appeared in “Both Sides Now” album. It was a legendary version and a very very mature album. Somehow CBL managed to put everything together so beautifully and from one masterpiece made another one. To anyone who has never heard that 2000’s “A Case of You” I am talking about, I highly recommend to listen to it. It might become your best tears you’ll ever have. It’s a heartbreaking version of a classic song. Peace! May the music save the world.

This track has a profound sadness associated with it, the type of sadness associated with letting go and entering a final frontier, a new chapter, new beginning and a forgotten past. This song reminds me of sifting through childhood memories. I thought I'd always be happy. That I'd be in love. That joy would be eternal. I'd want for nothing. But that isn't happening. Maybe it never will. Walking through those memories and feelings and thoughts feels like walking through another world, where peace is eternal. It makes me sad that it ended so soon, but happy that I lived it at all.

Makes me imagine a future in which we have technologically evolved into a new human/AI species. Our physical bodies are sleeping but all our minds are connected in an artificial utopia. slightly depressing for an alien to look at if it visited Earth, but it could imagine the joy we are feeling internally. I'll stop being cringey now lol.
