Scott, you nailed it. This is the ultimate practice guitar. No cables, no hassles, just pick it up and get the job done. Add a bluetooth learning app and ear buds and you’ve got a wireless go anywhere silent practice rig.

There is a tuner in the Enya app along with quite a bit of other stuff under tools. Drum machine, Metronome, & Tuner. Which can be blue toothed to the Nova Go Sonic speaker. There is also Basic Chords, Cord Finder, & Cord Dictionary. Guitar hits a lot of buttons
@ScottUhlMusic2 ай бұрын
Nice! Thats true. I do wish it had a tuner built in without the app personally
@mikeparks43112 ай бұрын
@@ScottUhlMusic Totally agree, go to the app is kind of like plugging in an amp. Nothing too hard but a pain. But at least it's got one. Go ENYA thanks Scott

I almost didn’t watch this video cause I couldn’t see myself with something like this, but I’m lazy as well and hate the set up it takes to get a usable sound to practice with. I spend too much time practicing unplugged so this is just making sense. Thanks
@JSession2 ай бұрын
Same, I for sure have spent more time playing “acoustically” rather than plugging in. This solves that issue.

If youre a senior player who has retired from the heavy lifting and never ending grind of equipment set up, this is for you. A very playable guitar, and all the signal processing you really need in one instrument. It also receives bluetooth for playing with songs on your phone through the built in speaker. You aren't giving up anything you really need, and are gaining an easy way to keep playing without a laborious set up process. And honestly, it's a fine guitar.

My Modulus Quantum 5 bass has a carbon fiber neck and a phenolic fretboard. Stays in tune unless it’s been on a stand in sunlight. For a guitar like this, if going “all in” on this platform, I would definitely have a second one set up as a twin for back up. For learning, something like this isn’t lazy, it’s efficient 👍🏼

I was waiting for your words on this! This is the first video where this guitar sounds good and usable. Man, other reviews make it sound terrible! My only concern is, again, about the built in battery... what will happen when it inevitably dies? Is it user-replaceable?

I am gonna ask a question so I can try to avoid thinking on how much I want this guitar!!! (the new colors didn't help - at all !! :( I just watched a video where the guy was using a Wireless XLR sys to connect the Helix to the PA... personally I thought it was genius. Any pros/cons on using that vs using a regular guitar wireless system to do that (again, from the Helix to the Mixer) Thanks man! Hope Enya sends you more stuff! hehe
@ScottUhlMusic2 ай бұрын
Yup! You can do that for sure. I’ve done that as well 🤘 best one I’ve found is the new Shure slxd portable one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWPPg2yKmc6ni8Usi=6MsOWYUEAEKyjrah

How loud is it? By the way, your affiliate code is not attached to the URL in the description section. You should put a forward slash before the question mark, like "/?sca_ref" ...

Hi Scott. Do you think it's possible to replace the nickel frets with stainless steel? Seeing the fretboard in the video, it looks to be fused or even molded into the neck.

Ah yes, when I think of Enya music, I think of guitar. [Edit] Maybe it's beyond the use case of what the guitar is intended to provide but an effects signal loop to plug in an effects box or wah pedal would be pretty damn sweet. Also, that's a phenomenonal price point.

I don't think it's lazy at all. It's a more efficient use of time if you need to learn a song, and it could help your focus. Let's face it, as soon as you switch on a computer to use alongside your guitar you're just inviting distractions!
