It finally arrived after 3 months stuck in customs!! Quality is on point with this Rlaarlo Carbon Brushless buggy but its selling for $199.99 which is a lot of money for a 1/14 buggy! Do you think its worth the money? These cheap included batteries are usually low C Rating and dont always supply the electronics with the power they need! Interesting.. See you on the next one! 😎👍

Yeah, its definitely worth the money, it has carbon fiber, a brushless motor, a accessory kit, and its tough and fast!

A buggy is meant for off roading. The carbon shock towers are too weak and my front one broke. I saw the same on other youtube channels. I think it s best to get the metal version. Also check the controller. Lot of people had this...when you go full throttle but then push even harder it goes faster. The controller doesn't cover the full range and they had to fix this. I received the faulty controller. There is a fix to this by cutting the plastic so the trigger can go further.

I got one on the first day available for $100 so I couldn’t turn it down. I had heard so much about rlaarlo customer service and support but I was not happy with them as far as satisfaction. The battery went bad after 1 1/2 months (only charged 6 times) and they wouldn’t help me out. I have batteries that came with my wltoys car that are well over a year old and they work fine. I keep my batteries at storage charge all the time when not using them so it was definitely defective. Glad you finally got yours to review for us. You always do good testing.

I got one for a hundred on launch as well...I’m curious if his battery is faulty because I’m getting much closer to advertised speeds with the included battery. I picked up a Lectron Pro brand 2,200mAh 3S 20C pack that fits perfectly from my local brick and mortar with a Deans plug already installed and the thing is so fast it’s almost uncontrollable due to its small wheelbase and light weight. Sure does get hot on 3S though. I also snapped the front shock tower on a bad tumble and replaced both with beefy aftermarket machined aluminum ones. The chassis is holding up beautifully. Cool lil buggy for sure.

Reading all these comments makes me feel a little lucky because I got this car and it is freaking awesome. On 2s it’s an animal! Never had to put a 3s in the car ever. And have yet to break anything….fingers crossed. Only thing that sucks is the 2in1 speed control. Other than that, awesome

I've been looking forward to seeing this in action. I agree, it's a little expensive. But when you consider the cost of the carbon fibre parts alone, it's about right. Plus all the spares and a fairly decent li-po in the box, I think although a high price, you're getting what you pay for. It looks great with the purple livery, I think I may hit the buy button 🤘🏻😎 Awesome video as always dude

Cheers mate. Not a bad little buggy. I'm hearing there is a v2 transmitter which allows for more throttle range to achieve the higher speeds. Think I have the v1 😕

FINALLY!! WOOHOO. I thought you never were going to receive this. You have the v1 faulty controller. You need to contact Rlaarlo and they will ship you a new controller free no hassle. You are are not getting your full throttle. There is a hack for the controller but they will send you a new one no questions asked hassle Free.

Great honest review shame about speed lies but it looks amazing seems to have the right build quality, comes in seriously cool colours!!! As for the price they do need to sweeten the deal a tad for sure, as you stated that is big brands money! I would like one tho, thanks for your upload mate 👍🙏🐈

Think I may have the v1 transmitter. Apparently there is an issue with the throttle and this is fixed with the v2. Not great QC to be fair 😭

I want that special edition buggy with the gold wheels and I think it goes a tiny bit faster than this one its 299 but honestly I think that's awsome, with extra wheels, spare parts and that gunmetal Grey color scheme ughhhh yeah and I think it has the carbon bits which I think we can all agree... its nice, honestly mini buggies are where its at for me, I still working on my mini B, with the dynamite 2s brushless combo, 18t pinion running on a 50c 800mah, it's dialed, the losi mini b's are my fav. Hopefully soon im going to do a hackfab conversion with a Porsche body and turn it into a CAR with a 210 mm wheelbase with a momba micro.... is the plan... 🙏thank for the video, great review, I like the way you talk your easy to listen to! 🎶

I put this motor and ESC combo in their 1/14th monster truck and it fixed it right up! It looks like it goes 40mph+. I'd check and see if you've got the transmitter trigger problem some have encountered. Some have had to mod the transmitter to get the full throttle range.

Nice little car but you are correct better of purchasing a second hand arrma typhon 3s, Getting spares could be a long wait especially if coming from china. I have the arrma typhon and never lets me down. Where is the bike track looks awesome Nice video again 👍

Why not extra parts and everything else that comes with it is very good. That's less you have to buy if it breaks. So yes it's nice the car comes with extra parts It's a no-brainer.😮😊

I've seen a few reviews on this. The quality is awesome but I reckon you could buy a WLToys Brushless and upgrade it to Carbon Fiber for cheaper. Looks decent though.

200 isn't cheap...I have the 144002 and the 144001 and I just ordered a brushless kit for the 144002 gave 90 bucks for my 144002 and it came with 3 batteries for 90 husks I ordered a 60 dollar brushless kit for it ...after I install it I wonder what the comparison would be between the 2

That is not expensive...it gets awsome speed and hobby grade i put new ecu in mine and 3s and im hitting 56 which is not bad fro the price and its wierd yours is so slow out the box mine did .41...u were not driving in straight line lol it goes faster tgan 32
