Flex can you please help you claim that it’s the same exact install but the filter is different for me but the cover has a new whole for the sensor the problem im having is that it won’t fit which side did you slide the sensor into

This video is over 3 years old. I don’t know what tornado tuning is shipping for filters and/or they changed the design. Your best bet is to reach out to Naresh at tornado tuning and ask him. He’ll be able to tell you step by step.

@@TheFlexxGarage I just installed it on my GLC 300. Sometimes it makes what sounds like a raffling noise. I thought it was the filter hitting the housing. But nothing it’s noise that the turbo / intake is making idk. Sounds like a muffler sound.

Really hard to tell cause I lowered the A4 with 19” rims so it’s a harsh ride while my c300 is stock height and stock wheels. It’s comparing apples to oranges.

Hey flex...i finally did that ambient light kit for my w204 c 250 coupe..it came out nice but i need you to move to cali...lol. these foos charged me 1600 to install the same kit from dmp...i feel robbed. I showed them your video and they still said its a 20 hour job...

I’m getting like $28k offer for mine but here’s the issue. You can sell a car and make money right now…but you still have to replace that car with something else…and used car prizes are waaaay too high. Profits are basically gonna get used up unless you can find a steal of a deal.

But it's a sedan and I want to get in a coupe. And I wouldn't feel right trading it in since it was his dream car. But the dealership is offering 55k for it right now

Hi Flexx, maybe you or someone else can help. I bought the exact cold air intake you got, same company, from your link. I installed it following your video, and it just doesn’t sound like yours does or how anyone else’s cold air intake sounds. Mine makes very little to no whistling noise. Any suggestions? Spoke with aftermarket seller, he suggested changing spark plugs?

Intake is not the only source for a whistling noise, it makes a sucking sound. There’s an aftermarket diverter valve on my car. When there’s excess air sucked from the intake, it blows out of the diverter valve and that adds more sound. If you watch my videos on this car in order, you’ll be able to know exactly what’s on my car.

I didn't. The dongle I had only had features, it doesn't have a tune loaded on it. I'm still on the stock tune. I don't want to run anything else since this is a daily driver and my wife drives this car alot. I only wanna do physical enhancements that will make the car more responsive while increasing the durability of those parts im replacing. I don't want to change the fuel, air, spark, fuel efficiency, etc... with a tune. I have my A4 and R8 for that. hahahaha

Alex, that intercooler doesn't make sense as to it working better than the stock version. The stock version has a liquid flowing through it, but it also has the fins where air flows over it too. These new intercoolers looked like they are completely sealed where air can not flow through them. So I don't see how those ones can be better than the stock version?

I think you mixed things up. Lol. did you not see the intercooler pics I put up. The w204 oem intercooler has fins on the outside because it uses air to cool down the air inside the intercooler. The w205 oem intercooler only has fins on the inside along with chambers for coolant to flow. That's what keeps the air cool in the new intercooler. It has no fins on the outside cause it doesn't rely on air passing through it like the W204 intercooler. The w205 intercooler is more efficient in cooling the air using coolant and it can be placed in the areas where you don’t need to rely on external air. Not sure what intercooler you looking at but the W205 oem and the new two version from Tornado Tuning all are liquid cooled intercoolers. They don't rely on outside air so they don't need outside fins.

No. It’s just an Intake. Doesn’t do enough to require a tune.

You can’t put a cone filter unless it comes with a pipe to connect it to the stock pipe. You’d have to buy a kit. And it’s better to have a cover over the cone filter so the filter is not just sucking in hot engine air which will reduce performance.

Don’t know. Unfortunately, this car was not really designed to be a “sports” car. The transmission was designed for luxury/comfort hence why the shift points suck and it’s lagging between shifts.
