Wow. Not only did you solve alot of logistics issues of normal hollow handled knives (ferro, hand held compass, a light), you've also made it more practical buy adding the idea that, for instance, the knife is more functional to more people. A guy could have to walk out for help but they can leave their spouse and kids the knife. And then to top it off you engineer the sheath for warranty purposes. Incredible work. Jimmy Lile would be proud.

Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback and compliments! I have tried very hard to make all of my "survival knives" more than just a flashy knife. Hopefully they will help someone make it home safely someday. Thanks again! 👍👍

As usual this was interesting. I particularly liked the idea of the light and compass in the tin.

Thank you! Glad it made sense, sometimes my rambling does. Sometimes.

It's the best design I've seen since the 1980s. I'm not sure if it's been addressed, but as a woodsman, I used to buy the old "classic" survival knives as i liked the storage compartment feature, etc, however, the inherent design flaw of the older designs is the lack of a full tang, so that junction point of the blade-handle is critical. Have you thought about that issue for your design? Just curious - it certainly looks like a high-quality "tool". I'm thinking about placing an order soon...
