In your way there will be thorns in front of the doors that block you progress until you beat two bosses that you actually have to beat. And yes... Lion was not one of them... but more on that later and how pointless those thorns are. 0:27 Context. You find in front of those thorns a letter from Leda that leads you to Castle Ensis. Next Dungeon in this DLC and one that is FAR less impressive than Belurat. 0:32 And this will tell you all that you need to know about this location. It's the MAGIC area of the DLC because From I guess wanted to include as many parts of the normal game as possible for this DLC. My opinion? It's... flawed from lore standpoint, but again. More on that later. Let's just say the boss and this whole area feel REALLY tacked on. 0:56 There are also Messmer Soldiers and their involvement in this location is sort of explained with lore of the boss of this location. Be VERY careful around them. Those soldiers in my opinion are way more dangerous than certain other enemies in this DLC related to Messmer. They hit SO DAMN HARD. 1:03 Incantation used here is Lightning Strike I think. 1:17 There is a hole here... It wont be gone anytime soon. 1:20 Going by the waterfall is another way to enter certain part of this castle. 1:25 Main gate serves as a nice shortcut 1:28 And another Miquella Cross under which you can find Skibidi/Skadoosh Fragment 1:33 That treasure there is unique talisman. 1:39 Portrait of Rennala is important for the lore of this place 1:53 If this is a reference to something I don't get it. 1:58 This is Moonrithyll, Carian Knight. She is a friend of the boss of this place and a friend to trolls... Does it mean anything? Does it make me sad in any way about killing her? No... Not really. Again... This feels very tacked on. This whole area does. One could say it is... slop. Slop meant to pad out the length of this DLC and add the magic part for the magic users to soy face at. 2:02 As for the killing part... Yeah that can be hard. She fights like a troll with her sword and her spell. She is not terrible, but be prepared. 2:05 I assume Carbot was not prepared. 2:10 There are also Black Knights here. Big Boys of Messmer army. But while they are very strong, I say soldiers are WAY more dangerous. Those guys at least for me are not nearly as bad as 3 soldiers with axes charging at you to one shot you to high heavens. Or Spear Guys stunlocking you and one shotting Torrent. 2:20 Sadly they are never this friendly... Anyway. Let us wait for the episode with the boss so we can discuss in length the filler that is the lore of this place. Thanks for Slopping by.
