This is not something to be underestimate. It was extremely painful experience for me. I am a person who takes two showers a day. I got an operation with sedatives today. The doctor said that neary 1,5 liters of infected liqued has been extracted. So, don't think in a way that it is just a boil, get medical help immediately.

What? That is so much, 1.5 litres! What body part? Were the boils massive?

@@danieljarrett3783 The cluster of boils were located at the inner upper part of my right leg. The tissue around there has lots of fat as you can guess. Additionally, my length is 178cm and my weight is 100 kg. But you are right, it was massive. My doctor was also a bit surprised after the operation even though he saw the MR images.

I had that problem for over 3 years. Then I checked my blood, my vitamin D level was low. After I started take vitamin D my boils never came back. Check your vitamin D level. I am boil free for 3 years now.

That's very encouraging. Which vitamin D did you take, and what strength?

I got mine operated and so called removed. It never healed. Had operation in late 1980’s. It comes back and it not only affects the area, but my whole body. Like muscle aches. I just wait a week or so and it gets big and pops when I bathe in hot water. Blood plasma and pus comes out. Then it takes a week to two weeks to heal. I won’t get it again for a couple of years unless I sit in a hard surface or don’t get what I want for Christmas. Truth.

Very helpful, thanks. I now know that its a carbuncle on my shoulder, not a boil. I think being depressed if affecting my immune system. I also need to cut down on sugar.

I watched Game Grumps and they played a game in which text appears that says "The carbuncle ate itself." I searched up what a carbuncle is and I didn't expect this.
