This might help somebody (recommended by my dermatologist) : 1.Don't take hot baths or showers 2.Don't sit near or in front of a fireplace 3.Don't stand close to your stove or oven while cooking 4.Avoid red wine and alcohol in general 5.Avoid spices 6.Maximum sun exposure 30 mins per day 7.Always wear 50+ spf sunscreen 8.Always wash your face with lukewarm/cold water 9.When getting a facial tell them not to use steam on you 10.Don't sit in saunas Overall, she told me that our biggest enemy is heat. Also, a healthy and balanced diet plays a huge role. Lastely, go to a dermatologist to get it treated. Love all

I think I have the 2nd type of rosacea. The skin of my cheeks are red, uneven, bumpy and flakey. It’s so annoying and sore because I keep messing with the flakes. I don’t know how to get rid of it. I’ve had it for well over a year- maybe even two. I try not wear makeup because I don’t like the texture of my cheeks or how sore they are/look afterwards but I have to wear makeup for work so I’m not winning either way. 2 years later edit; I’ve still got it. I’ve been under dermatology for over a year and my rosacea is very much still there. Although it has slightly improved, it’s been that severe that it went into my eyes. So now I have been suffering tremendously with Ocular Rosacea since May. My eyes are so badly damaged and they’re not letting up. Weekly hospital visits and 7 different types of eye drops a day to no avail. Nobody knows what to do with me. They want to cauterise the blood vessel that crosses over my pupil but my eyes are so inflamed that they are unable to at this time. So for Christmas I’m not only going to have a red face, but I’ve got red eyes to go along with it.

There are some factors that trigger rosacea, these include.. Literally fucking everything? You kidding me..
@paolagonzalez24953 жыл бұрын
That was a very interesting article, here area few more tips for people who might have Rosacea. 1. Do you really think you have Rosacea or have you been looking on the internet too much? It may be common, affecting up to 1 tenth of people, but red faces are not always rosacea. Dermatologists often see patients who are worried that they may have developed rosacea, perhaps following a bit of internet searching, but they may actually have another condition altogether. Facial redness simply occurs because there in increased blood flow to the top part of the skin, perhaps because of inflammation, sun damage or fixed widening of vessels. 2. Don’t panic great treatment is available. at the moment it is impossible to cure rosacea however it is extremely responsive to the right treatment and can often be completely controlled. Patients are often very worried when they come to see a Dermatologist that they may have a long-term progressive condition. People particularly worry about the development of a thickened nasal skin, a condition called rhinophyma. 3. Don’t break the bank on cosmetics. Rosacea is a common condition which is often distressing. The cosmetics industry is worth billions of pounds Unfortunately the claims that cosmetic companies make about their products being able to cure rosacea are mostly lies. Cosmetics don’t reverse or reliably treat inflammatory rosacea, despite some companies’ extraordinary claims. So what does help? Simple cleansers and moisturisers like the Cetaphil range and sunblocks such as Anthelios, Sun Sense products or Altruist. Cover up foundations and powders and green-tinted moisturisers may also be helpful to cover redness and improve confidence. 4. Consider Seeing A Dermatologist. Dermatologists are the trained skin specialists in the UK. If you have any concerns about diagnosis and management of your skin condition it is worth seeing a Dermatologist to obtain an expert opinion and place you on the right treatment path. The diagnosis of inflammatory conditions of the face can sometimes be difficult as conditions often overlap. New treatments are coming through all the time and complex treatments such as laser are best done by clinicians with relevant experience. In the UK you can check whether a doctor has completed Dermatology Specialist Training to become a Dermatologist on the specialist register of the General Medical Council. Look for ‘Dermatology’ under the doctor’s specialist register entry details. (I discovered these and why they work on Natural Remedy Blueprint website )

@hn9925 I'm sorry to hear you're going through that-it sounds incredibly frustrating. Persistent facial burning could be linked to a range of issues, from nerve-related conditions like trigeminal neuralgia or rosacea to allergic reactions or even stress-induced symptoms. Since medications haven't helped, it might be worth consulting a specialist, such as a neurologist or dermatologist, to explore other underlying causes and treatments. Keep advocating for your health and seeking professional guidance until you find relief.

Stress is my trigger. I got it suddenly out of nowhere as a man in my 30s
@MedicalCentric3 ай бұрын
@The-Black-Robin Stress can indeed be a significant trigger for rosacea flare-ups, and it's not uncommon for symptoms to appear suddenly, even in your 30s. Rosacea often manifests as facial redness, flushing, and sometimes bumps that can be mistaken for acne. Managing stress through techniques like mindfulness, meditation, and regular exercise can help reduce flare-ups. Additionally, identifying and avoiding other triggers, such as certain foods, alcohol, and temperature changes, is important. Consulting with a dermatologist can provide tailored treatment options, including topical medications or laser therapy, to help manage your rosacea effectively.

@MedicalCentric27 күн бұрын
@Wego-y7k It sounds like your skin may be reacting to something, possibly related to your skin type or an environmental factor. It could be due to heat, stress, or even the products you're using. To help manage it, try using a gentle, soothing cleanser and avoid touching your face too often. You could also try a lightweight moisturizer or an aloe vera gel to calm the redness. If the redness and oiliness persist, it might be a good idea to see a dermatologist for a more accurate diagnosis and treatment. Stay patient and take care of your skin!

Heat causes it! Whenever I get hot, especially from having the heating on at home or in a room with no clean air I would get hot flush, a feeling like when you're embarrassed and I would sweat. I would then flare up... I brought Rosacea cream off Amazon, I use it every morning after I was and have been good ever since. I still avoid too much heat if I can but the cream definitely helps. It kinda cools the skin, I have sensitive skin too so have to use alcohol free face wash...I have dealt with this crap for years with trial and error on different things and researched it plenty, trust me I know it's annoying, I hope this helps anyone reading. Also, avoid alcohol, sugar, milk and bread as much as possible. They're not helpful, especially alcohol 👍

Hey i have skin burning sensation under my nose. I have a very dry skin. Can u please recommend me any good alcohol free moisturiser for dry and dehydrated skin which can heal me from burning sensation and can make my skin better from dry condition? I don't have any reddish condition on my skin. But under my nose when I am in hot weather or when I sweat that time i feel that it's burning under my nose area. @@sadianusratliza7564 you can't be sure without visiting a doctor. There's no harm in trying rosacea cream. It's a great cool moisturising cream for sensitive skins. Cost about £10, worth trying right?

I removed onions (inflammatory) and dairy from my diet ( animal hormons are injected to to cows to get more milk which adds up to our body's hormones and results in breakouts) and my rocesia is completely gone.. I have seen many dermats but they kept suggesting multiple creams n ointments... every dermats had their own cooked up crap theory.. however I did yoga, cleansed my body within with the help of yoga.. cut down on Onions, Alcohol and Dairy out completely from my diet. ... keep in mind ur body is sensitive avoid all inflammatory acids of all sorts.. which also includes Apple cider vinnager.. I have thrown out all sorts of tablets and creams which I was fed up of taking. Shared my experience hope it helps.. good luck to you.. by the way my skin has improved drastically.. infact it looks like it was never there and is glowing as I started yoga it looks younger now.. P.s I tried laser.. all international peels.. international certification acclaimed dermats.. spend lakhs to treat. Laser worsened my skin condition. DO NOT FALL IN THE TRAP OF LASER.. IT'S THE WRONG FOOD.. CORRECT YOUR FOOD.. BECASUSE THE DESEASE IS WITHIN THE BODY.. IT'S NOT JUST OVER THE SURFACE. ... REMEMBER THAT.. PLEASE DO NOT FALL IN TO THIS POCKET FILLING TRAPS BY DERMATS.. IT WILL RUIN UR SKIN TO AN EXTENT THAT U WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO HEAL IT BACK AGAIN. DETOX UR INNER BODY FIRST TO CLEAR THE OUTER BREAKOUTS AND IMPURITIES. I have also Cut down on sugar and bakery as it feeds the bad bacterias also leads to dandruff and scalp diseases apart from increasing the skin redness and itchiness.
