I had that same hand held & use to have to keep my finger on the trigger or it would die out😁I wasn't handy enough to fix so glad it stopped eventually! I just knew your's was gon start after that!🤔👉🏽💪🏽

We can't get HIPA parts over here, the part that we can get are much worse. Sounds like a good plan to clean the original carb

I'm sure you "Picked Up" a few things but I'm guessing not from Marketplace. Hey just mark that old rusty torx bit private property and you'll FIND it blind folded. Dang, is that watch big enough, I never realized Jitterbug made watches too. Lets see..... art, welding, mower fixin and now carb repairman... well kinda. 🤣👍👊

Try one from another(any other) company. The HIPA carbs tend to need a lot more adjustment before they are ready to go than other brands. (THROW THE HIPA PLUG AWAY AND GET A NAME BRAND PLUG!!!!) On that particular carb, start out with the adjustment screws all the way in(gently), then back the L out 1/4 turn and try, then another 1/4 turn and try, then move the H and L screws out together another 1/4 turn and try(all with no throttle).... or get a different carb from another source and thank HIPA for their carb\paperweight. Their are a LOT of companies out there that make super cheap carbs that work great.

😂🤣 This raggedy youtube app. I don't know what happened with that other comment, but good video.... that cart has been through a war 😂 Maybe Chickanic has a video that'll give you an idea about that new carb. I wouldn't call it fail, maybe a new plug will do it, or pull the trigger while starting, or _don't_ pull the trigger 😂 Always some contrary thing to get an engine fired up. Brother, apparently you love those FB finds, but I've gotten my fair share of this and that through marketplace, too 🤷‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ In fact, I might look and see what's what later this evening 😅

How's she goin'? Oh No!! It still won't start!! I have had goof luck with HIPA carbs, but I have also had bad luck with them. One thing thoigh, HIPA usually will stand up for their products. Maybe check with them and they'll send you another one!! Good luck and thanks for showing us a 'real' carb swap out project!! Take care!!

Great work, but unfortunate the blower wouldn't run after replacing the carb. Might have to play with the air fuel screws to get it going. I've had that happen and sometimes even that doesn't work.

Big Son on the BG56, when you put the choke on you cant touch the throttle until it starts. As so as you touch the throttle it releases the choke. 😢
