Kyle Barcelonia That is great! Personally, I just want to see a different group from Cebu na lumaban sa Aliwan as representative ng Sinulog Festival. Although Lumad Basakanon is an awesome group din naman, pero maganda din na makakita naman ng Sinulog-based na lumaban kasi Lumad Basakanon is basically Free Interpretation-based. :) Kapag lumaban ang mga Sinulog-based groups like sa Carcar, Danao or Talisay against Dinagyang sa Aliwan, it will be very interesting. ;)

I don't understand why people keeps comparing carcar from sinanduloy, and the fandoms of sinanduloy will always label carcar contingent "copycat from sinanduloy, suon kaayo og sinanduloy kaayo" Hello! I think sinulog based has a suggested steps to be followed that makes them tha same. Tsssk! So Sad. Move namo uy. 2018 is for carcar jud.

wala may suggested steps ang sinulog. it is how the way they dance to the Child Jesus, well dili pod nato sila ma blame nganong mo ingon sila ug sinanduloy, kai nakita man gd sa mga spectator nga halata ka au ang CLONING. I must say the reason they won was they have the graceful dance, dungan, ug hinlo. clear ka au ang concept dili naka kailangan mag huna huna.

+Roa D. I humbly disagree sir. remember two steps forward and one step backward and raising of candles? those were the suggested steps, and there are others as well. Uniformity of prescribed steps is more appropriate than "cloning". But if you prefer to use that, I do hope that you would consider the specialty of each contingent rather than just pointing out how similar their routines are to your favorite contingent. :-)

i agree with Jeffrey ferigura, i used to be one of Carcar City Sinulog Dancer. there are mechanics that needs to be followed. SB has it's suggested steps, it depends on how you will apply that in the choreography. if you would notice SB contingents have the same figures ra. daugon lang gyud na xa sa flow sa choreography. and of course sa theme.

Before sila nangapil, naa pay Southwestern University with Sir Mike Gonzales amd there was San Diego Dance Company with the Sandiego' family from Carcar.
