Ako taga carcar gyud ko pero eversince sinanduloy jud akong first permi. Bisan katong 2016 na nalupig sa carcar ang sinanduloy, i feel nga sila dapat nachampion ato. Pero this year, murag I need to say Carcar deserves it man. Wala man na overdo ilang props. In fact ilang costume is already considered their props kay it added beauty to their dance. Wala pud nila giwara wara si sto. Niño pag ayo. Hinlo pud sila nanayaw. Unya dili pud paspas kaayo ug steps. And their concept is novel. It depicts Filipino culture and faith. Siguro lang jud mas favorite lang jud sa judges ang Sinanduloy kay naanad na sila na permi padaogon ang sinanduloy. Mapildi raman sad nang sinanduloy kung magpagawas ug dagkong props ang placer. Pero if walay props, sila man jud. Pero this year, I have to give my heart back to my fellow Carcaranons. Dili tuod ko expert pero ang pagkaportray sa carcar very relatable sa Filipino culture and traditions. Anyway, sige lang mga Carcaranon, better luck next time. Bahalag dili ta padaogon bisan feel nato makadaog ta. Hehe. Dili nalang jud ta mag expect kay sakit. Pero laina sa feeling nga ingnon ta nga makadaog rata kay walay sinanduloy. Hopefully one day, mamanhid na ta aning mga mubully nato.

I love both carcar and tangub pero this years tangub performance is not like what previous performances they had, medyo off. And Wala ko kibaw ug asa dapit nagkuwang ang Carcar kay kung gracefulay ug execution hisgotan halos mao2 ras tangub manayaw. Congrats gihapon tangub especially Carcar city 💖

Among the SB performances, I personally voted for Carcar City because of clarity and consistent execution of their concept. Not bombarded, not empty. Just the right dose of every element helpful to their production. Their costume-props color schemes were balanced, complementing the contingent's strong production value. The dancers were graceful and on point in terms of execution. Staging was well-blocked and rehearsed to every detail. Most importantly, its storytelling was well-curated. The story build-up was clear and logical from start to finish that even a Grade one pupil can understand by just watching. Carcar's experimentation on concepts always bring them to top spot in the Gran Mardi Gras, and that edge should be maintained. Although this year this fell short to grandslam championship, still, this is a killer entry. Anyways, congratulations and see you next year, Carcar. I am proud you gave Sinanduloy a tough fight this year. Congratulations, Sinanduloy Cultural Troupe and thank you for inspiring our Cebu contingents to do their best every Sinulog. By winning this year, you proved that you are the standard- to beat.

I agree with you Sir. They indeed gave other contingents a Feeling na d dapat ma kampanti. Carcar City has been very consistent of what they bring in the stage. I must say the spot light in this years Sinulog was theirs even if they landed 2nd. Truely proud Cebuana here!

@@yoyawards9969 don't take my word for this. I am a carcaranon, too. But I think they want to rest. For me, they were heartbroken as well although they are not saying it. But again, don't take my word for this. All I know is that it has been announced during their victory paety that they won't be joining next year. Indeed, an ungraceful exit.

Its concept is original. #Sinulog2020. This year is iconic. Symbolic to say the least. The mananangal, babaylan, prayerful queen and its minions. What a way to sway the crowd from fear but to the Niño we often put our trust into as Cebuanos in terms of paranormal to paranoia. This is the theme Carcar adopted for its ritual as winning piece. It portrays the past where everything gory used to relate to that feeling of helplessness, but now, that we hav the Sto.Niño in our midst, faith heals. Hello Ms. Nichole. Di ko taga-Tangub City. I'm a fan both Carcar and Sinanduloy. Ang concept jud sa Tangub is faith to Sr. Santo Niño despite of changing and modernized culture. Kita man sa sayaw na ang tawo gihagit jud sa iyang pagtuo bisan paman sa iyang naexperience na kabag-ohan sa iyang kaugalingun. Gipapili siya ot gitesting siya, maglipay2 lang ba siya or magpabilin iyang pagtuo sa Ginoo. Naa juy mga tawo nga di pa makasabot sa concept at first, but when you analyze it deeply, diha ka mas makasabot. Para nako, mas milamang ang Sinanduloy tungod nakasentro ilang sayaw sa unsa juy Sinulog, hugot na pagtuo sa balaang bata. Tawo namay gitackle gud mismo. Then, ilaha sad performance kay "less is more". Diha sila maayo. Di parehas sa uban nga daghan kaayog props. I'm not against Carcar. They deserve also to win. Like anybody else saying. Limpyo. Well-executed. Very Filipino. But, I don't call it as "pabor2". Judges' decision were finite. So, mao nato. Congratulations still Carcar!

Their concept is very much the same with sinanduloy's 2015 performance and even the design of the costume it's much the same this is probably the reason why I think they didn't won. Unlike Sinanduloy, every year jud unique ilang concept then mga years later daghan na kaayog mag soon soon. Their performance is nice after all yet they should have not copied sinanduloy's concept.

Sir, SCT's Sinulog 2015 performance is a unique one but no one can claim originality, especially that everything artsy is inspired. So if we notice similarities, it is because of inspiration. And also, Carcar took its way to be different despite bearing these alleged similarities with SCT's former entry. CCD made variations to make its concept its own brand. SCT and CCD are totally different, especially in style. It is only the furious fans that link them.

I guess Carcar did not copy Sinanduloy's 2015 concept. Kita man. Mas gi-highlight pa gani sa Carcar ang dagan sa story line ug ang dance choreography which is excellent. Carcar is known for its unique dance choreography. Remember Sinulog 2019? Walay ni usa naka-sayaw ug kinaraang Sinulog dance steps kundi sila ra. So wala siguroy rason na magkinopyahay. Ug walay choreographer/artistic director na mangopya. Think of it.

Carcar is the second to the last and tangub is the last contingent overall that is my opnion we have diffrent opmions but i feel that the last 2 contingents are carcar and Tangub because of their concepts and their music they use trademarks to finish strong and thats all i need to know
