Always loved how much this game cribs from "premium" TV dramas of the time like Lost and Breaking bad. The pacing of the plot, breaks from the main plot highlighting the side characters, a comedy relief duo- Having originally played this on the DS, the episodic structure and plot recaps were also a good fit for a handheld game. Also don't know why with all of RE's middling spin-offs we still haven't gotten Raid Mode: The Game. The concept of the BSAA and Anti-Bio Terrorism squads is the perfect framing device for one.

The fact that it was a 3DS exclusive didn't help either. I like the setting but I still found it too...limited. Scenarios are small, puzzles are really basic, the amount of cuts and jumps between characters and locations make getting interested in the story really hard.

Another good way to remember is the way they look. Stalagmites M spike up Stalactites T spike down.

Playing a ton of Raid mode with a buddy of mine, both on PC and on Switch, you learn the weak spots of enemies pretty quickly if you wanna get into doing things properly on Trench and Abyss difficulties. xD Some of the enemies don't have weak spots at all, and all you can do is just hit them with the biggest weapon you have on hand to try to DPS them down. Thankfully in raid mode you get a readout of the damage you are dealing per-hit, and the blue numbers change to yellow/orange when you hit them in a weak spot so it's very useful for knowing where the best spot to shoot an enemy is. Another fun fact, you can get weak spot hits with your knife, as well as your follow up melee attacks. But not with grenades.

Nice work you made those bosses seem much easier then I remembered from playing through this. In particular spawning the Draghignazzo from the other side of the room and just putting it down before it can even turn around was nuts. If you do an infernal run will be it be NG+ or will you be doing it new game? I remember it throwing so much stuff at you that it felt like it was designed for NG+ honestly kind of like village of shadows. Looking forward to the kill all run of Leon A.

I remember putting round after round of the Precision Rifle rifle in the two pixels of his head poking out of cover and him just refusing to die. When I first played this game Scagdad was the most difficult boss for me. Later when I had to fight two of them with Chris I freaked out cause Scagdad did his job right. Chris is really powerful, though. He killed both of them with ease. The other bosses aren't as scary as Scagdad or difficult. I finished everybody else with one or two tries.
