So Ethan actually killed only Marguerite baker that's it. if that's what you use to mesure badassness killing bosses then you do you. I thought Ethan had less personality, also had many weapons and less difficulty. Clancy had to use his head more, against Lucas and against Marguerite had no weapons at all. Only when he got in the basement which he basically almost emptied for Ethan did he get something to fight with and boy you had to work for it. Everything was more difficult for Clancy. And he only died when Lucas literally rigged everything with no way to win or survive. Ethan only survived because he got the solution from the birthday room from Clancy and could cheat to win. But it's just my opinion. I thought he kicked ass and liked him better. Maybe you didn't play all Clancy's dlc maybe we just have different opinions. That's fine too, greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪 😃

I just wanted the RE7 fam know, that I finally beat the game in Madhouse. Poor Ethan died 59 times, but I played until I finished. Thank you for all the chemical mixing advice (came in very handy for Jack III). **The highlight of the run was that I ran out of ammo in Marguerite II, but then she fell on me so I kinda took the circular saw and ran it in her ahhhh, her ahhhhhh, the weak spot!**

Just in case you are still stuck. I used to think Mia was hard, but when you learn mechanics it's simple. You'll want to bait her into charge attacking you; then block and stun her, get two headshots in, then loop around her and repeate.

This is just my headcanon, but it's completely possible in my opinion that Ethan is a member of Umbrella. He has the knowledge to use all of these firearms that he finds with great ease, he knows how to make the medpacks out of the random ingredients that he finds, knows how to make ammunition for various weapons and responds to infected with relative readiness. So to me, him not calling the local authorities might indicate that he also knew about Nia's involvement with the project and didn't want to put her at risk.
