i have had a 2019 Rogue and i Love it. plenty of power, incredibly good handling and superior brakes. i have seen 38 MPG on the highway. wonderful ride. you see them everywhere, cause they sell so well. i cannot say enough about this fantastic SUV.

Great review guys! I've been a Nissan guy for most of my life. I've leased two Rogues for the past 6 years, but I saw the 2020 as an opportunity to buy one with the great incentives on the outgoing 2020 model. I test drove all of the competition and realized that the Rogue has most of what I'm looking for. It came down to the Rogue SV AWD with Premium Pkg vs. the RAV4 XLE, Escape SEL 2.0, and Forester Sport. People bash the CVT transmission of the Rogue, but the transmissions in the RAV4 and Escape were so jerky and always seemed like they couldn't find the right gear at lower speeds. I do mostly suburban local driving and the Rogue's CVT just thrives in that setting. I really liked the Forester, but my local Subaru dealers just never budge on price. The 2021 Rogues look great, but I think that the 2020 SV Premium wheels give the Rogue a great look in pearl white with the tan interior. Is the Rogue perfect? No.....the steering is loose compared to the competition; and the long term reliability of the CVT is still in question.....but the long list of safety features, comfort and convenience features offer the best value compared to the competition. I feel like Hyundai and Mazda are also offering vehicles that are a great value, but I've never felt comfortable in their vehicles for seating and/or driving dynamics.

I bought this new body style back in Feb ‘14 while it was still fresh and people would see me at a stop and compliment me on how nice it looks. I love this design still today. Still have my ‘14 and didn’t buy another one only because my wife didn’t want two 😂😂, so I bought a beautiful damn near brand new ‘18 Murano and gave her the Rogue which she has always loved as well. Love the Rogue.

Funny thing about the Rogue, especially here outside Philadelphia... every other person owns one! I’m convinced that Nissan must be paying people here to take them! They are EVERYWHERE. You can not go from one place to another without seeing one. So with that being said... that is good news for Nissan, and people obviously like them, but I’m so glad I have a Black Edition Forester... because I don’t want to be like everyone else! 😊

They are incredibly very popular here in Southern Ontario, too. Without doing a formal survey I would say they are the most popular SUV on the road here. Which means two things - first, people don't read reviews, and secondly, in a few years transmission repair shops are going to be very busy indeed.

My gf has the 2014 model; her back windshield wiper motor quit, the AC is horrendous, it rattles and squeaks, the visor won't stay up and I see no way to tighten it, and the hood doesn't completely close and always seems to be on the verge of flying off. That being said, it IS roomy and comfortable with good gas mileage, so not a complete bust.

I have a 2014 Rogue SL. No problems except for when I had to change my car battery. Since then my Sirius Radio needs to have a signal sent to it each and every time! I took it to Nissan and they want to charge me $1,300 for a new radio!! This was my third and last new Nissan.

What an excellent review as always! The exterior still looks handsome, and the interior is still a pleasant place to spend time in. Yes, the Rogue is due for a redesign, and hopefully Nissan can make a better transmission for their vehicles. Otherwise, the Rogue is still a decent choice. And by the way, you forgot to mention that there is an available third-row for the Rogue. I don't know about the 2020 model, but I know that Nissan has offered a third-row option for the Rogue for quite some time now.

If you drive a Nissan hard and hammer on the CVT then you may have problems. Drive it conservatively,change the CVT fluid and filters every thirty thousand miles and you will be fine.

Nissan needs to get away with that CVT tranny, Mazda refuses to put a CVT IN their cars , they have what you call,COMMON SENSE. hope this helps shoppers make up their mind and for Nissan to take notice, you can't even pull a lawn mower trailer with this CVT, without voiding the warranty. I'm stupid for not doing more research on the car before I bought it. Better think I'm this one, if you're a city slicker and nothing else it's ok.

No, there is no more hybrid available in 2020. The RAV4 has better mpg numbers and Nissan barely sold any hybrids so they are discontinuing it. Also the CVT is horrible in Nissans automobiles. The Rogue also needs a refresh it is getting very old.
