Is Nissan a reliable company brand ? compare to other brands like Toyota Honda and so on like this Nissan rouge does the rouge have a lot of problems?
@BryantBaudelaire5 жыл бұрын
I own the 2017 Nissan Rouge and it’s simply the best. I’m also buying a 2019 Honda CR-V this year so I will have two decent SUVs
@JoesGoldenGarage7 жыл бұрын
I just bought the rogue this past weekend! However I chose a lower trim level. I have the SV model but it has the tech package with nav, all the cameras, heated seats, heated steering wheel, power seat, power lift gate and more. But it is cloth with no sunroof. $25k for mine
@海上生明月爸爸7 жыл бұрын
joegolden481 ,is 25k include flight and tax? what is MSP? thank you.
@goodtimefishing49797 жыл бұрын
joegolden481 how is your rogue doing so far? I'm think on getting the SV.
@海上生明月爸爸7 жыл бұрын
T.L.F - The Love to Fish ,I brought sv with option GPS life gate, total $24500, include tax. you must inspection everything before sigh paper, I brought sv last month, after few hour, the internal light not on and have noise behind GPS, I returned 3 time to dealer, and ask for exchange , they said only repair。

Well, you posted this comment two yes ago how do you feel about the new 2018&2019 rogues?
@ishventurez8 жыл бұрын
Both are great cars, I checked out the rouge, crv, rav4 and edge. I ended up with a 2016 XLE FWD. so far I love it, I don't have power seats or lumbar support, the seats are not that plush which surprised me, this is the only Toyota I been in with uncomy seats. lots of room. The navi is spotty. I prefer my phone now.
@BernonCars8 жыл бұрын
Good comparison of them both!

Toyota will retain it value much longer and the trade in is always great
@vassiliosipov88897 жыл бұрын
The Rogue SL should have the platinum and premium packages in addition to other options. It kicks Toyota's and Honda's butt. Toyota's info system is slow. With all this, the Rogue SL/PL AWD is still less expensive than the inferior Rav 4. i own Acura TL/SHAWD 2011 and Honda Civic EX-L 2012. i will own the 2017 Rogue SL/PL AWD with practically every option available. i know vehicles and am a Honda guy but Rogue kicks everyone's butts.

I like both in different ways !

RAV4's interior may not be all premium, but it can take a beating like all other SUV's with harder plastics. Plus the RAV4 does have rear vents, they're just located up on the middle of the dashboard. The RAV4 hybrid may be the way to go with more power and better fuel economy.
@ErwinWabe7 жыл бұрын
Nathan Brown it must have vents under the two front seats, thats what my 2014 corolla has
@nathanvbrown36307 жыл бұрын
ErwinWabe that's true but there is a vent in between the radio cluster and the windshield defogger vents. When the 4th gen RAV4 came out Toyota put those vents on the top of the dash to circulate the air to the back seats.
@yeon7237 жыл бұрын
rear vents, whoopdie do
@treydrier31697 жыл бұрын
Wait a minute....you said the Rogue offers more content for a lower price but NOT if you are buying the more basic models, which is what a majority of buyers will choose. With the Rav4 offering a plethora of safety features that are INCLUDED at the base model seems to be a much better deal than the Rogue. The safety features (pre-collision braking, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise, and auto high beams) along with Rav4's reliability record and the included 2 years of maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation, roadside assistance) FOR THE BASE MODELS should carry much more weight than things like "chrome accents". The Rogue may be a better deal at the very high end but at the base and mid level models the Rav4 is a far superior value, especially if safety features are important to you and your family. Also it would have been great to understand the difference in ride quality and maneuverability.

Hello Trey! We have a full review videos that discuss all the trim levels of the Rav4 and Rogue. This comparison was focused on the top end models but those videos also cover the more basic trims. Thanks for watching!

Ok that's great. Sorry for being so direct. Didn't realize you covered the other trim levels. Nicely done!

the rogue is better..., a good extior,nice interior...and the price is al good. And the rogue looks now like a midsize cuv.....-
@kirksr67118 жыл бұрын
the Rogue has the looks and all but value and safety it does not have.beware of that tranny nissan will leave you stranded.I had one brand new. 2014 sl awd and I had nothing but problems around 7k with the fuel pump and transmission constantly. I had to trade it and the trade in value for it is terrible. this is a great review but I will tell everyone about nissans biggest disappointment.
@treydrier31697 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct and is a point I made in my comment above. The safety features on the Rav4 are second to none. My daughter has a Honda CR-V. Its been a very reliable crossover but we are switching to the Rav4 on her next leasehis this week. This reviewer glosses over the included safety features. The safety features along with Rav4's reliability record and the included 2 years of maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation, roadside assistance) cannot and should not be overlooked. They are FAR more important than chrome trim.
@occckid1237 жыл бұрын
Trey Drier scheduled maintenance is more of a gimmicks that won't save you much. how much money are you really spending in 24k miles lol! that's like 3 oil changes. I usually get my oil changes done for 20 bucks every 5k miles and I get free tire rotations at Mavis discount tire. sorry u had issues at 7k miles but I don't think it's the norm. neighbor has 1 and drives 40k miles a year and hers is perfect averaging 30.1 mpg also.

The temperature is 20 degrees F, you are driving 50 mph on dry payment, suddenly there is a 50 foot patch of ice. Then there is bare pavement again for another 50 feet and then another patch of ice for 150 feet. What does your car do; how does the car respond? Does the AWD keep things going straight?

Great review!! It got a bit confusing at time when you mention the features. I think it will be really helpful if the name of the car that you are showing on the screen at the time is highlighted or written somewhere. I got a bit lost sometimes and was not sure which car I was looking at. But really great review! My dad is trying to choose between these two and looks like the Rogue is the better one for his needs.

RAV4 is nice but I won't get the RAV4 because Toyota has the opcion to put stuff on but they don't put it in. I especially don't like the missing rear air vents, ventilated rear brakes, no panoramic sunroof, nicer materials and Bill quality. But I do like the standard safety sence, perimeter scan and 360 camera, more cargo space. But I thing the rouge is better because the price is lower and you get more features. You can't go wrong with either of thies but I like the rouge more because you save money and get more features. But in my opinion the rouge is allot nicer. But that's gust me

I'm not going to watch this video but we had a Rogue - 180,000 only 1 problem ever!!!!!!! At 60,000 we replaced a rear hub assembly for under $300! Great car. a lot of room overhead, at the sides and a lot of legroom even when you have the front seat all of the way back. Just reviewing a new car is not enough it's how does it stand up in the long run....

@kirksr67118 жыл бұрын
i ve owned the nissan and went to the rav 4. the nissan drives kinda sluggish and the transmission acts up in stop and go traffic.the gas mileage is great with the rogue i got 42.9mpg.but the rav4 drives more smoothly.the leather on the rogue wrinkles easly. but the rogues tranny is a deal breaker nissan doesn't stand behind their transmission.toyota does offer a better warranty and service 10 years 100k.thats new car.and 7yr 100k on certified.look up nissan rogue complaints on google but be well informed before you buy any car but the Toyota is a better buy.
@jesusavalentin54396 жыл бұрын
