Keep a safe distance from trucks when following. They can easily roll back, and it takes longer for a truck to stop compared to a car because of air brake lag. Never turn at that same time as the truck is turning. The trailer wheels of a truck takes a shorter path than the tractor wheels, so you could get hit and end up under the trailer's wheels.

It looks as though Driver Education is no longer in existence across the planet. A twenty minute ride here in America shows that you need nothing more than a heartbeat to get a drivers license. Looks the same across the pond.
