Man, I love how casual your vids are. I hope they stay this way cos I'm sick off some of other guys trying too hard if you know what I mean. Keep it up. We need more of your energy

Jerry was a dear close friend for many years of my young life as a magician in the 70's/80's and into the 90's. It is always wonderful to see how fondly he has been remembered,

These are extremely under rated videos. Please keep at it Jeremy. I can’t wait to watch you grow to be one of the big you tubers.

Beautiful ribbon spreading!The spread one way and then reversed over the top of the original spread and then standing it up as a wall is gorgeous and something I’ve not seen before!Surely a flourish like this is real magic with cards as opposed to a “pick a card” card trick.Superb!It seems to have an organic flow and glide to it!Brilliant work!Thank You.Highly entertaining and enjoyable.

I’ve started diving more and more back into table work as well. Interesting about the tremors as I started developing hand tremors about 25 years ago which has made some sleight work more challenging as years have gone by.

Great video as always, Jeremy. One thing that didn't get enough airtime was the superiority of the ribbon spread for having a card selected while seated. It seems obvious, but I've seen so many magicians sit down at the card table only to spread the cards in their hands to have a selection picked out. Just why?! The ribbon spread provides such a casual way to slide out a card, and by my estimation, it feels more free than an in-the-hands spread. (And, of course, it's also pretty easy to force using a ribbon spread, too.)

Never knew how under rated the ribbon spread is! I remember when I started magic, I used my door mat as a surface just to learn the ribbon spread. q:

Tom Gagnon has milked the table spread for literally everything that it's worth and then a lil bit more beyond even that🥴🤓👍 Great thoughts Jeremy as always and thanks for sharing the link to Andrus! I appreciate what you do here!

He sure has ..I got 'unfiltered ' by Tom Gagnon and I underestimated how much ribbon spread work there would be in it ...ironically I don't have the close up pad 'real estate ' to really practice it properly so I am passable but far from good on ribbon spread controls
@eversosleight3 жыл бұрын
@@happentodie8776 oh you have to get a pad, or hardback. TCC large hardbacks go for around 30ish. Smaller will work but all that stuff Tom does, larger is better. I have Avant Cards and hope to get unfilled soon! Tons of stuff with spreads!

Ppl that are good at that so called pass from ribbon spread, altrough the pass is the word I hate, its a card control lol, those ppl have an INSANE weapon in their toolbox. I know a guy he scoops it up so damn invisible its not even funny. Just scoops it, and he puts the selection like almost exactly the same space as others, I keep ask him how the hell you ev en see it because he can move his look and go back and immidiately scoop the ribon. To me it seems almost same, so I cant see it even without really looking slowly if I move the look and go back. I have problems with biting nails, so, not for me, I barely put the pinky count well enough, this aint gonna happen soon. But it is one of the simplest, no justification asking and cleanest invisible controls ever
