Thank you for this really detailed review! I am trying to decide if I need more like want them because they're so beautiful and we don#t have this beautiful edition here in Germany. I mean the series is standing in my shelf but they're so pretty and the hardcover and bigger style is awesome.

The artwork can be seen fully on this edition,which is more satisfy but i already got regular edition it's too sad i don't know it's has collector's edition

Reasons I HATE this book: •The "Clow cards" aren't even Clow cards. They are tiny and they don't have the iconic design on the front. •2 of these collectors books = 1 of the regular volumes. Literally scamming people by giving less story for a higher price. •The images in-between chapters in the original book were colored. Again, giving less details for more money. •Not including extra images at the end. I think the extra images at the end were really nice and im upset they removed them for this edition. In conclusion: if ur a collector, go on and spend. If you want as much story, details and overall enjoyability, get the original. It's much more worth it.

I mean...the original is out of print..meaning you are paying at least double the retail per volume . The omnibus goes up to $50 and up...that isn't cheap nor is it easy to get them

As gorgeous as this new English edition is, it is rather annoying that there are so few colour pages. And apparently the paper is rather thin. The Dark Horse omninbus edition was wonderful (I read them online), but sadly they're out of print now and available nowhere.😢

I had the omnibus volume, and theyre not great in person. The book fell apart after awhile. I loved the color pages it had though and I wish this edition came with more!
