I have this placement, and I resonate with the passion & independence; however, when I really am in love with somebody, I do get very possessive & jealous & insecure, and I very much care about the depth of the bond and getting to know the depth of a person. Once I deeply bond with someone, I have a difficult time letting go and it means the world to me because I often feel misunderstood and I naturally am skeptical of other’s intentions so I don’t lend out trust easily. Thanks. This was really insightful and well put. I really value my Venus in Scorpio placement, challenges and ego deaths and all. At least my life is not boring. Everytime I think I hit myself, I grow higher or deeper than I've ever been and it's mystical and sometimes scary, and yes, a bit lonely too sometimes. Its sooo true, I hate group work, being controlled and slow thinkers, have a reputation for being very stubborn, independent and a go getter, sometimes even rude. As I am getting older I learn to be more mature emotionally and sexually, less manipulative. I really love my privacy. I often fantasize about taking some of the juiciest secrets to the grave. My tolerance for (legal) sexual taboos is high and I pursue my interests with great passion and a sense of higher responsibility. It is almost as if I have a mission on Earth to free our sexuality from shitty, tight norms and lies that go against our playful, intuitive, messy and yes sometimes "dark" human nature. It's an act of deep friendship, understanding, integrity and respect to me and a service to the collective. If sexuality and art are not raw, honest and emotionally challenging I do not need them. What is "dark" even? Every soul has its shadow aspects and I am so sick of the toxic positivity... and really into what is hidden and wants to come to the surface in order to be seen, understood and integrated properly. Let's be weird and enjoy ourselves.

I never have identified with the "possessiveness" and "toxic jealousy" I prefer open relationships and my independence is my top priority. I have dated some scorpio venus and I really enjoy their company, but I’ve felt at times the rockiness and defience. I can feel like we’re on the same path, the intensity is high and it almost overwhelms me a bit because of how quickly they become interested and for me I can feel I barely know them yet but also how quickly they can lose that same passion, they can be very sexual and tabboo oriented. When I have wanted a committed relationship, they’ve kinda shied away though I thought we were on the same page, which honestly is a bit painful, that fierce independence kicks in and I get confused because I thought it was all going well and towards a relationship. There are many reports that Gandhi was abusive towards his wife, had several affairs and abused his grandnieces, he was a double-faced double-morals person with dark s3x habits. Cardi B at least is honest and open. I have been noticing how traditional astrology dignity rules are dictated a lot by moral rules (and circumstances of course) of the time they were formulated, so it can be interesting to review them. As in this case, Cardi B is more morally correct than Gandhi for sure. Perhaps there are also another configurations missing here.

gandhi was very honest n open about his obsession with sex and his life long battle to practice celibacy. he has written this in his biography as well. he constantly tested his celibacy by being around n:ked women (his nieces.. not entirely understand this,. but it was one of his higher principles) and resolving not to get aroused by them. So That is Jupiter uplifting this dignity of his obsession (mars+venus). His approach towards incorrect behaviour was like this only.. eg. he would tell an eveteaser to bathe naked with the girl so that he gets over the fact that she is some object and normalises her as a person n human being.. Tho i understand and admire his way of thinking (I have a dominant Jupiter, so I tend to be benevolent/naive and idealistic in my thinking), truth is most of the people don't operate on a high dignity level.

Pretty much bang on! I have this placement in Vishaka. Apart from Jealousy and adultery bits, I think everything else is absolutely true! I’m pretty sure snoop dogg was also on trial for murder once but was acquitted. That’s kind of crazy that the classics say overly specific things sometimes that would be true in isolation, but can definitely show up sometimes in a chart! Venus doesn’t seem that bad in its opposing signs compared to how Saturn or Moon seem in their opposing sign(s). I dig that Venus and Mars aren’t enemies at the basic level so for sure, Venus can be pretty good if Mars is in a sweet spot from Venus.

actually i think this is another example where a planet is not really worst off in its debilitation. Moon seemed worse off in Cap than in Scorp. Mercury too, worse in scorp than in pisces. Venus now follows the pattern, worse in Scorpio than in Virgo. I believe it is beause debilitation is similar to exaltation in that the planet faces an important challenge. In other signs, the planet can just get really uncomfortable.

I remember reading Mahatma Gandhi's chart where Venus Mars were shown in the ascendent, first house. He has professed to be a sexual maniac in this teens and later on, used his will for celibacy and restraint. He used to sleep with naked women, and forced himself not to be aroused by them, while he was trying to overcome his carnal desires. So, the Jupiter n Ketu influence is really high as u said.

Umm , that's an interesting take on Venus in scorpio. I wonder if the planet starts behaving like its in "other sign" based on what planet it's conjunct with. Saturn is AK ? Not 29 degrees Mercury? Is my example correct? Or do I confuse the words "degrees" , "minutes" , maybe I got mixed up there. But if not...That changes everything...Doesn't it? Also, can you define kala-vikala? GeeeeeeeZeus the stuff these Indians put in their calculations. Look at the karakas, AK, DK, etc, using minutes instead of degrees? Does it work for you? Makes sense? Having a different atma-karaka, father-karaka, mother-karaka, sibling-karaka, etc etc. Cause this...I mean the Sanjay video is like "AK requires your attention! Your full attention!" but we're not even sure about it...? At least I'm not, not now, not if I got what you're saying. Vic Di Cara you are right. This position has an adulterous disposition. I personally have this in my 5th house (in Swati Nakshatra). And I was always consciously aware of the power and influential pull of sex. But since I also come from a more religious family and practice my Brahmacharya, so I have never had sex with anyone in life. But that's not to say I haven't been intimate with people in more milder forms. I have kissed girls and boys. I have even went naked in front of many girls and boys. I have even gone naked in photos and video calls. And I do have a slight reputation that I'm whorish. Infact I have lovers from India and even America. Both Indian and non Indian (white men from different ethnicities). Even from India I have had lovers from various backgrounds (people who are non Hindu like Muslims). But I do it all by being very clean about it. I have this very fierce rule for myself. I'm not breaking my Brahmacharya and will only have sex with the man who has become my husband. No sex for me untill marriage. And I also have an intense desire to have a husband who is just as intense as Lord Shiva himself. I believe in doing my Tapasya and manifesting an auspicious life partner. But I will put it out bluntly why venus in scorpio behaves this way.
