Vivica expressed how we all feel and I’m so happy that Regina is surrounded by her sister queens holding her up and down through this horrible tragedy. So much of what’s happening is our community is a mental breakdown resulting in high crime/murders, drug abuse and just out right acting out in such painful/disrespectful ways. We truly don’t know how to love our way through the hurt. We can all slow it down and stop reacting and start listening and showing empathy.

My daughter is 15 and she had planned to kill herself!!! It wasn’t about her not having what she wanted or needed!! She was battling with Anxiety!! But she said that if she didn’t get better by a certain date she was going to kill herself… I had no idea she had this struggle until the police knocked on my door.. telling me My daughter was at the hospital because she tried to kill herself by cutting her wrist and jumping in a lake !!! Someone saw her and called the police … You just never know!!! I told a family member what happened and they had the nerve to say why would did she do this when she has everything!! I was so mad because it’s not having material things .. it’s about her thoughts and Mental!!! I was able to get her help and she is doing good now with medication.. I told her she should never be ashamed about anything this is her testimony… Kids are suffering!!! People are suffering!!!

You and your daughter are in my prayers, I was just reading your story, my heart goes out to both of you, my granddaughter is 14 she will b 15 in April. She has been cutting herself, and this has been going on awhile she told me last night she has therapy today. My prayers are with Regena and her family . We have to pay attention to our young peoples because we just don’t know what they could be going through. It’s so much as a grand parent I can say on this topic, because I went through the same thing wanting to escape life, because I felt like I couldn’t handle life anymore . Which at that time I was 22 years old. I can relate to the feelings panicky and anxiety, and I would use the word escape instead of suicide because that word suicide seeded so like final, and the word escape felt like ok when I get better I can come back from feeling that empty way I felt on the inside… 🙏 🙏 for all that’s going through.

Pray for all our children and Family members that are suffering in silence!!! No matter how much you try to ease there pains there mind is telling them something different!!! My daughter wen into inpatient treatment for 3 weeks and then it continued with out patient were she went to school a half a day and group counseling for the rest of the day… She see a psychiatrist once a month… she know s what triggers her anxiety and now she understands what she need to do when she is feeling a certain way… there is some anxiety coloring books I bought her that helped keep her mind occupied!! I have her praying!!! She is doing really good now …

But I dealt with depression and I worked so hard changing my way of thinking and making sure I align myself with Positivity… it wasn’t easy and I Don understand that people handle things differently but I guess I had to make sure that I don’t expect people to just get over things like I was able to do.. we all need prayers because the devil is so busy and ready to seek and destroy!!

This pandemic has risen all of these feelings that the fast life has forced us to suppress. As an introvert, I thrive in being alone and at home but even I experienced hills and mountains of unfamiliar emotions. It can be overwhelming to many especially those already dealing with depression/anxiety etc. Death is surrounding us and it’s feels as if the whole world is in gloom. Plus seasonal depression is kicking my ass. Tryna keep up with my Vitamin D and healthy habits, exercising etc. sending healing and positive energy to everyone 😊❤️❤️❤️

I've never commented before but I feel the need to. My mom put me in counseling as a child because with me being Black, Female, darker skinned, an only child and having a physical disability, she knew I was going to need additional support. Because of that I was diagnosed with a variety the mental health issues, including ADHD and a mood disorder. I chose not to start meds until college. I've been dealing with Mental health for so long, I never understood the stigma surrounding it. I'm a suicide survivor and have loss friends to such. It's not anything to be ashamed of. No one is perfect. I beg all of you to seek help or assist those closest to you. I went to greif counseling when one of my dogs died and then years later I sought greif counseling before my mother passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. To say it helped is an understatement. Black people especially we have to help and care for ourselves 1st. Stop listening or worrying about what others may say or think. No one is going to take care of you but YOU! 💖💜

From experience, sometimes just being there with the person means so much. When the people stop calling and coming over, that’s when she’ll need her friends. Don’t worry about saying the right thing. Just give her a hug, hold her if she cries and be a listening ear. Also, respect her grieving process. Everyone grieves in their own way and in their own time.

Sensational episode by the Queens. The emotional transparency was uplifting regarding Regina King. There is a lot that you can do to support Regina. Be there for her. Be there to listen. Be there in silence. Be there to hug her. Be there at night when she needs to talk. Believe me - she is not okay, she is in shock. I love LisaRaye's comment about the alone time/quiet time - this is when the heartbreak is prominent. I appreciate Vivica's insight regarding Regina. This was her only child, and they were really close. This hurt will last her entire life. Be there a year from now when all the well wishes will stop and people move on with their lives. Great show. Thank you ladies.

An additional problem with the Tasha K situation is that in other situations she has grown her fan base to a place where her voice carries legitimate weight. Tasha K has been cited as a credible source for the current R. Kelly case. By doing this to Cardio B, Tasha compromised her own credibility.

Both of them sat on TGIF and gave Funky grace by not going in on bloggers who make up sh** ruining lives but Claudia was around 3 other women who know just what it feels like from watching friends go through defamation or having it happen to them. As someone who’s wanted to take my life numerous times. People think it’s funny when you mention you’re in a dark place and have mental health issues. The pain of losing a child is devastating; I lost my son to suicide, the pain never goes away, and as a mother who loves her child is always there, you blame yourself. You said I should have seen the signs. My heart is here, and maybe in a few years, we'll get a little peace. We try to live our lives the best way we can. I find it hard on his birthday every holiday And his anniversary this year. I had helped people around me to love and comfort me, and this year, I accepted their love and comfortIt'll take her a moment, but we're all the prayers from all her family, friends, and fans will help.

Sending my condolences 💐 an prayers to Regina King. As a Suicide Attempt Survivor I can only imagine what demons Ian was battling . To my Black Kings👑 /Queens let’s start Normalizing therapy… It’s Ok To Not Be Ok. We gotta start being more kind to one another spread Love not hate. An if you see any warning signs or know someone who’s suicidal please reach out. As a Sexual Abuse/physical abuse survivor an One who battles with Clinical Depression (Major depressive disorder)Anxiety Mental health/Mental illness is real. Also I’m a Certified Mental health advocate/Support group Facilitator/Counselor teamed with NAMI. Mental illness or showing emotion doesn’t make you weak. They’re so many of us Suffering in Silence we’ve got to break the cycle an start talking about Suicide, Depression & Mental illness. Childhood trauma also needs to be discussed I recommend we all go to Therapy‼️

I think we need to have a larger discussion about the culture of black women selling their bodies because there are thousands of black girls getting sex trafficed, going missing after meeting men for sex, these sugar daddy situations, etc. I blame this on a combination of the sexual comodity of black women 's bodies that has been ongoing for centuries and the black community's continued exploitation of black women through music, media, and this toxic stripper culture.
