The fact that you can’t recognise someone so unhealthy manipulating you by doing her usual therapist cosplay behaviour is apparent. She has been displaying narcissistic behaviour for years and she is playing you. I have long felt that while your heart is in the right place you don’t seem to be able to recognise or address the darker side of human behaviour in your podcasts. Your interview with someone so clearly narcissistic just verifies what I have instinctively felt about your podcasts. Pity.

Hi @Jay, I noticed there was an advertisement that appeared right after Jada becomes emotional while she recounts the time in her life when she was suicidal, I don't think the timing of this ad was appropriate, I felt it lacked sensitivity. I recognize this was not done on purpose, but please consider the timing of your ads in the future.

I did not hear Jada own or apologize for how she supported the vitriol rendered on that assault of Chris Rock, another black man! Now, she's demeaning and demoralizing her husband publicly. This story with Jada resonates so deeply with me. I wrote a book about overcoming trauma, under a pseudonym while recovering from a triple brain injury in 2012. I suffered so many traumas in my life and struggled so hard to reach recovery from my debilitating issues. Just when I began to get better and heal I suffered devastating losses and could barely get out of bed. I was done, my world had become so small. I was lucky, but so many others are not. I am not through all of the darkness but I can feel the warmth of the light on me now. But I hope if anyone is suffering that they find the hand they need to hang on. Thank you so much for this episode.

It's wild how Jada can bring up so much hate for people and it just goes to show how much shadow work the "conscious community" is avoiding. Jada is a piece of the universe just as much as anyone else. Her voice is valid, her mess is valid, her process is valid. To anyone having a visceral reaction to her, she is just a mirror, and if there is no room in your process for facing your own mess, you will continue to manifest judgement, shame and guilt in your life. When you face your shadow, give it infinite compassion, without judgement, then you'll become more free, and will in turn have the patience and compassion for other people's mess as well.

The same people who utterly adored her before and during her marriage vilify her now. Her journey to her own self worth is necessary. She clearly loves hard and has lived for everyone else it seems, she has sacrificed so much. She took a batch of very bad foundational ingredients that would have taken some other people out of here! Yet, she managed to hold on and still live! She is heavily transparent, and most people just want to be lied to and want the sanitized and deodorized truth. Memoir= a historical account or biography written from "personal" knowledge or special sources. She should be able to write her own memoir without the backlash. ‘Let’s be in PARTNERSHIP, and talk about the realities of temptations, etc’ Will & Jada show us how communication is really the cornerstone of any partnership tethered in marriage & gifted in the privilege of real, true, unconditional LOVE! When your marriage isn’t all about sex, you can see why a private agreement of separating is not considered ‘an open marriage’ just because the public declaration of marriage is still what it is and divorce is not an option. I just really appreciate how well Will and Jada were able to craft THEIR specific marriage around each others needs and break away from codependency at the same time be so determined about their commitment to themselves and each other for not throwing each other away with a declaration of divorce. It takes all the self respect, patience, transparency, authenticity, candid, love, respect for each other, & careFULL thoughtfulness that marriage is suppose to embody when done right and evenly yoked to get to alignment and balance in this way. I guess negative comments are deleted here... it's not about people not liking her truth... it's about the fact that she contradicts herself in various interviews, which is why she is not credible in any way. We just don't believe her. She tried to create a program that is supposed to be "only the truth" by sells lies on the front (or if you like - hides the truth, but why such a program then?). And over and over again words: I, I, me, me, ... I recommend watching the behavior panel. Many people simply have similar feelings intuitively - which specialists confirm. Probably there is some truth - but much more creation. People don't like to be gaslight - when you see a lie its a lie. No matter how nice you dress it. I played her old interviews - there was definitely less manipulation, condescension and more naturalness... Something gone wrong. She is still charming but not reliable. I wish her to find the truth. Because there is ALWAYS ONLY ONE truth..

@@soso-cm7kt I can see where you're coming from with this, but I think that's where as a society we sometimes can falter. Nobody should be claiming to have access to THE truth, so she definitely shouldn't be saying that and I think in this interview she does mention something about not knowing the full truth. Everything is perspective. Even as a coach, I can never tell my clients that there is only ONE way to think or go about something. There are MULTIPLE ways to a particular end goal, result etc. That's where I'm getting at. She may appear to be inconsistent, unreliable etc. but let's also remember that people change. We're constantly learning, integrating, and adopting new beliefs. It's called growth. And the person I am today, may not be the person I am tomorrow. That's normal. We're human, we're allowed to change our minds about things. I've watched a few of her red table talks, and now this and still just see someone who is learning as she goes, and sharing what she's learning in the process. I’m late but I didn’t know Jada was Jamaican. I love hearing about her growing up and how far she’s come. Ppl focus too much on Will and her relationship because the media click baits it instead of seeing her as an imperfect human being like we all are.

Imperfect to the point you sleep with your son's friend who you met at your son's concert for 4 YEARS?!?! Imperfect that you replace your man's garage and remove his cars to turn it into a studio for her show, the red table. Imperfect that you purposely shame your husband online.

Listen Jada and Will have been together in whatever form they define for 30 years and built an empire together. Jada is demonstrating a REAL life relationship, with REAL life issues. They literally grew up together and there is no one that gets each other the way they get each other so I get why it’s not that easy to walk away. Love looks different to a lot of different people based on their environment, culture and moral beliefs. Thank you Jada and Will for sharing the human truth behind the façade of the “Hollywood life”.

So many things we wish we could’ve said to them and Jada stated it so perfectly 🙏 I wish mental health retreats had more awareness and were socially accepted. I'm so glad I didn't "weigh in" on Jada and Will topic. There's something about letting someone relate their experience in their own words. Jada is a human becoming and she's dedicated to her and her family's healing. Shame dies when stories/experiences are told in safe spaces. I wish her well and I'll definitely be buying the book.

This is what vulnerability look like. This is what transparency look like. This is what being unapologetic to healing, being open, being patient, giving yourself grace, and growth looks like. Jada is human like all of us. Jada made mistakes like all of us make and will continue to make. Jada deserves grace just like everyone else. We don't have the right to judge others as if we are perfect. People need to grow up and understand that. For the people who have something negative to say, you need look yourself in the mirror and self reflect and heal.
@zknight4481 Жыл бұрын
This! The hate she gets is so unwarranted. People simply cannot handle when someone willingly offers up the mistakes they’ve made. It’s like they see that vulnerability as a weakness that they can attack like a damn pit bull. It’s so ugly and says a lot of nasty things about our society as a whole. It’s a great judge of character though. As soon as someone I know starts badmouthing Jada, I immediately detach from them because the hate against her speaks to their own character far more than it does hers. She owned her mistakes and has been transparent about everything. But people want to drag her because they think it’s not fair to Will for her to share her OWN story? It’s not fair to Jada to have to continue to pretend to be married to him, after a full seven years of doing just that for his sake, all because he values their public image more than he values her well-being. It’s not fair for her to be expected to sneak around and keep secrets from the world and have her entire life on pause because he’s so consumed with the insecurities he has about the worlds perception of their marriage. That “Jada and Will love” shit went to his head and made him too invested in what people think. And I say this as someone who adores Will just as much as I adore Jada. In reality, it isn’t fair to either of them but he’s not doing what’s healthy for them so he can’t see how unfair his request is to Jada AND himself- and their children, who were forced to keep up the ruse for the last 7 years all because their father couldn’t let the public know their marriage is over. I’m amazed by Jada’s graciousness because she spent that 7 years being called every name in the book because people said she “cheated”, when in reality they’d been separated the entire time. And despite that, she never opened up about their separation in order to save herself from the hate. She honored Will’s wishes to keep it a secret even at great personal cost. No one will ever convince me she isn’t a beautiful person.

Will wrote a book almost 2 years ago. It revealed a lot. No one said a word. Here she is a couple of years later, continuing her healing journey, everyone has so much to say. Look, no one is perfect. None of us. Not a single soul. If a projector was put on most of our lives for the world to witness, a lot of people would be physically sick from embarrassment. I will forever love the Smith Family unless I found out about some R.Kelly type situations from them. Other than that, I hope they can make it work, seriously. Because despite any of their traumas, when those two are together, that bond is undeniable. It’s literally like watching bestfriends, I don’t care. Marriages go through shit and GROW through shit.

@@CB-gl5xn Jada was portrayed as the adulteress in that situation, but what we didn’t know was that they were separated for years. What we didn’t know was that she wasn’t the only one that was seeing other people. Regardless of August age she had a short term relationship with a consenting adult. Just like has had many entanglements prior to that. It’s how social media portrays people and how people judge. Will has always been the perfectionist. He has always wanted to control his image and his families image, and this has been some thing that he has done prior to his marriage to Jada. He wants to be seen as perfection, so he tried to control matches his image, but his families image, and it did so much damage to Jada and his children. We can’t judge because at the end of the day these are human beings, who have their issues and their trauma and their secrets.
