I grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago, but is actually in the Diocese of Joliet. Nevertheless, we always heard news about the goings-on in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Back in those days, Cardinal Cody was Archbishop. His worst crime was giving some Church money to a female cousin of his whom, it was rumored, he had romantic feelings for. Oh, those good ol’ days! I’ll take back Mayor Richard J. Daley and Cardinal Cody any day. Even though the Latin Mass had already been changed to the novus ordo, things were still somewhat reverent in our beautiful Roman Catholic Church. It doesn’t seem possible that things changed so quickly (many would argue that 40 or 50 years is not so quickly) from those relatively innocent days to what we have now with Cupich and the gays running the Chicago Church. BTW- Evidently, criticizing homosexuals is now taboo. But the Scriptures and the tradition of the Church clearly denounce the sin of sodomy; this has not changed.

So what has really happened since the Public Masses of the ICKSP has been shut down? Their Headquarters seems to have remained, and that is odd to me. Seems that St. Louis, MO or Milwaukee, or even Kansas City, MO would be a far better friendly location for the USA Headquarters. Also, I have asked many times with no answer from anyone - has the rebuilding of the Shrine of Christ the King continued? Recently, it has been reported that a Chicago Alderman for that area of the City wants to sue Cardinal Cupich because he has interrupted a a wonderful resurgence of that once blighted area. Why is the ICKSP so silent on any stand still or progress of the Shrine???

I do know that in some churches run by the ICKSP like in Milwaukee for example, they have the Novus Ordo Mass, done reverently, but it is celebrated by a Diocesan priest and not a ICKSP Canon.

I know it isn't right to judge, but boy, how could I not judge when all I see is hurting my eyes and my soul, even more hurting when I know that a Mass shouldn't be celebrated like that, even if it is a Novus Ordo Mass. @John Botting I was specifically referencing what he was speaking about between 17:00 and 17:20. You are correct the GIRM only applies to the modern mass. But only its that outlined in SP but even TC specifies that the celebration of the 1962 mass is governed by the 1960 code of rubrics. So everything in this video from 8:30 seconds until the end has absolutely nothing to do with the ICKSP. If someone is that offended like this guy goes off about being, find another religion to belong to and find some peace in your life. I know I would.

His work is a work of the Church and as the SSPX doesn't compromise its positions as Eclessia Dei communities, has the true fight against the new mass and Second Vatican Council. They can help you. I am not angry or not a peace. My commentary is to bring out the problems in the Church today and shed light on some of the abuses accuring in the Church. Nothing about that "Mass" or "Service" is good. It is an abuse and it is disrespectful. Also, you don't have to be wealthy to provide a Holy and Reverent liturgy. Look at the Military Chaplains in WWI or WWII who said Mass on the hood of an Army Jeep, or in the ruined cathedrals in Germany. They provided Holy and Reverent liturgies. You dont have to be in a Gothic or Baroque church to provide a good liturgy. What you need is reverence, respect to God, and proper theological and liturgical training.
