The church has been here for more than four centuries, but the moral values of the filipinos has deteriorated from bad to worse. Same thing happened to other countries in latin Americas where catholic church is the major religion. Look at Mexico, it shared the same continent with US and Canada. Moral values are not formed by prayers and homilies alone. There should be more concrete programs.
